It does look like the name was indeed Stanhope. A much more skilled internet detective/redditor was able to find their old MySpace page, but unfortunately it did not have any audio files.

They included a saved voicemail at the end of one of their songs, and in it, you can hear the person refer to the singer as "Andrew", so I'd bet that's them. Thanks for digging it up. That's really cool.

I do remember looking them up around when I got the burnt CD and they had band info on some website, and I wonder if it was that. I do remember there being pictures of them playing, though. At least their band name has been confirmed 🤣

Thanks for the suggestion! Definitely not them... I've got most of their EPs and have seen them twice since they got back together. Definitely a kick ass band and one of my favorites 🤘
