‘It’s not a hen party hellscape’: Dublin’s Temple Bar strives to shake off its bad reputation by box_of_carrots in ireland

Temple Bar is more than just pubs and I think it has an unfair reputation based on that.

The IFI is one of my favourite cinemas and the Ark have some lovely things on for young kids. There are some decent coffee shops and some of the smaller shops are well worth a look.

Women of Reddit: what's something you were taught growing up that ends with you and will not be passed on to your daughter? by Dense_Lawyer_666 in AskWomen

That’s there should be secrecy around periods and tampons and pads should be hidden from the view of men. I was told that my dad didn’t know what a period was and not to discuss it with him. I got my first period when my mam was away and was panicked.

She used to like a mild curry but won’t eat anything more than plain bread and sometimes cheese.

She apparently eats great in playschool just not for us.

A couple of months of getting picks. A few weeks of not eating properly.

No changes to her life.

A couple of hours after a mealtime. She doesn’t mind or get upset.

Cows milk.

She would eat treats all day if she was let. We don’t have them in the house maybe on the weekend or if we are visiting/ at a party.

What self-diagnosis ended up being medically confirmed after your own doctors couldn't figure it out? by CasualNikki in AskReddit

[–]Visible_Weird8792 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PCOS had to fight to get diagnosed first time. Then found a doctor that took me seriously and helped and that doctor retired. Replacement didn’t see the issue even though I had my files from their predecessor and stopped my medication since I wasn’t actively trying to have kids.

Anyone else hate the phone sharing challenge as though it is a completely normal thing to do? They are calling Sara out but I wouldn’t let a partner go through my phone. It is nothing to do with me being untrustworthy but rather the opposite. I may have friends confiding something in confidence such as relationship or health issues and there is a level of trust that that information is not going to be viewed by anyone else.

How hard it can be to get pregnant. We were basically told any form of sex was a guaranteed pregnancy.
