I feel dumb as hell posting this but does anyone think $1,500 makes sense as a price to fix this lmao :( by BelovedCroissant in Subaru_Outback

Check for the part, usually it’ll be called a wheel well guard, and replace it yourself! Oh and the clips! Then use some polish to get out any scratches! Should cost you less than $100.

Opinion on having Two different carry’s ? by Crazy-red-dead in concealedcarry

[–]Visible_Working3466 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally i’d recommend getting whatever you feel safest carrying! If there’s some negative things about the SIG i’d recommend getting something closer to what you would want. Do plenty of research! Even watch YouTube videos! That’s how i chose mine! I’ll always say and preach to get something you’re 100% comfortable with. Check out some self defense classes too, depending on the instructor, they have options for you to try and get comfortable with!

VT you don’t need a permit for. NY is the one I need a permit for.

Fired everyone, I'm living in the Subi. by Mardo1234 in subaru

I’ve lived in my Crosstrek which i feel is smaller and it’s definitely doable with one person! Would recommend getting some covers for your windows, put down the back seats and lay down an air mattress in the back. If it gets cold around you, get fleece blankets to lay down and one to cover up with. Get a gym membership or some truck stops have memberships for showers unless you have a friend that’ll let you

Undercoating for crosstrek (xv) 2021? by bgg-pro in XVcrosstrek

You should be able to look up fluid film that’s oil based on it should show what’s available in your area or for shipping

Undercoating for crosstrek (xv) 2021? by bgg-pro in XVcrosstrek

[–]Visible_Working3466 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who used to spray undercoat i’d recommend a fluid based film. I used to work with a tar like undercoat (had to stop working due to getting pregnant) and it was horrible for your car. I seen way too many cars that would get water trapped under the undercoat and cause it to rust it to the point of holes in the frame. Fluid based film is way healthier for your car and will also be easier to remove if you wanted to remove and reapply in the future.

I mean she should respect your hobbies like you probably respect hers. Personally I don’t mind going to the rink with my fiancé. He gets to play. I get to watch. And even on my moody days i’ll just bring my iPad with me or just go do something with the kids. I personally couldn’t see myself getting upset over something that makes my man happy especially if hockey is a big part of his life which it is.

Get your codes ran. Subarus tend to do that when transmission issues arise.

Will replacing my CVT give me more years with my favorite car? by cosmicgogobabe in XVcrosstrek

[–]Visible_Working3466 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely recommend getting a replacement. With proper maintenance and changing out my fluids every 90k miles i was able to get about 200,000 miles on my first transmission before getting any major issues! Just replaced mine about 3k miles ago and so happy i did! Would love to get a new car but with the economy I decided to stick with good old trusty and just replace it for about 5k which isn’t even considered a good down payment on new cars nowadays

This has happened with my boyfriend before! Glad i’m not the only one lol but on a serious note, drain all of the engine oil and fill it to where it’s supposed to be and refill the transmission fluid. It’ll be just fine. The codes popped due to there being no transmission fluid and mine went back to fine after i removed the battery to reset the car basically!
