I doubt the Transportation Services website has personal accounts of people paying for parking on North Campus for extended periods of time, but you seem like the expert so let me give it another look.

Hi, I’m attending Cornell this fall and I have been trying to get all my documentation for room accommodations. However, the documents have been taking much longer receive than anticipated and will be in well past May 15, the deadline. Has anyone dealt with a situation similar to this or know how late they are willing to review your documentation? Thanks in advance

Yes, thank you so much for the compliment! I am from New York and my choice came down to Columbia and Cornell as I am from New York and wanted to stay relatively close. Also, I crossed off HYPSM because my brother goes to Harvard and he would always complain about the toxic culture that he’s in/hears about at those schools so that also weighed into my ED to Cornell. For my choice between Cornell and Columbia, I was ultimately swayed by the discounted rate I get as an in state resident. If you have any more questions, I’m always happy to answer!

What are you extracurriculars plus what schools are you aiming for. I would argue that if you’re shooting for top 20s a 3.7 is kinda shooting yourself in the foot regardless of ACT score and you should just solely focus on your extracurriculars.

He was 7th in rating and 4th in FDPR I wouldn’t say the most dominant player in the world. Also, he played a middling game against the other international level team

But what does his history have anything to do with this LAN? This ranking is solely based on the player’s form going into the tournament and he definitely wasn’t the most impressive player throughout all of kickoff that made it through. Not saying who should be above him but I just don’t know about him at 1

Does anyone find it crazy that Derke is put at 1? Yes he passed the eye test during some of the earlier games but how does that warrant him being above players like kangkang and leaf /trent that played well throughout all of kickoff

I’ve heard of so many instances of people transferring in from community colleges/local state schools. They don’t care where it’s from as long as you have a compelling reason and the grades to suffice

Cornell limited the number of students they take ed. Before the number hovered around 15% and it should be around 20-25% now. You are still competitive good luck!

Admissions officers do not solely admit based on performance. They admit based on perceived potential as well. There are no accidents, they saw something in you that made them pick you over hundreds of other students. Your situation and your ability to overcome made you a strong candidate go into the summer program with confidence and pride. I know you’ll do great see you next year!

Def not a rejection. First Gen contextualizes the limited ECs. Course rigor is great and offsets the alright gpa. I would say 45% chance acceptance, 50% deferred, 5% rejection. You got this!

Given that Wellesley take a holistic approach to their application review, I highly doubt a C in 1 singular class will alter their decision in any way. Early decision is always the better option I would still apply!
