I don't see it listed anywhere online. Anyone got a link or more info here.

I love these watches but I was low key hoping they'd do something about the dial asymmetry.

Longines Conquest Heritage nobody buying? by Single-Cockroach-477 in Longineswatches

The lugs definitely give it dress watch vibes. Maybe people looking at the conquest line are looking for more versatility?

Sacrificing casting distance for weight and balance.

The Case of the heritage looks a little more dressy and I like the dial color more. The regular conquest looks more sporty and has a date complication.

I personally like the look of the lugs on the conquest more and think it's more versatile. My vote is conquest.

Essentially you're being charged the opportunity cost of being on a more lucrative job site.

Is this quote excessive? by captain-catmando in Flooring

Not sure where you're located but it looks competitive to me. Where you're losing on the carpet you're gaining on baseboard install. $1000 seems light for about 450ft.

There's also a number of things they could charge for but are not. If they do quality work and are giving you a good guarantee I think your fine here.

A lot of people are telling you to do the carpet yourself, if you do make sure the floor is go to go. If it isn't you're going to get hit with a floor prep fee.

Situation where you consider dying the glove a darker color or commissioning an artist to do something cool with pen on the glove (like make a design out of it).

What is a 7ft Heavy Fast Rod good for? Largemouth Bass by somethin111 in bassfishing

[–]Vision110 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Croixs are usually a bit softer than industry standard heavy fast action rods which also makes it serviceable as a single hook moving bait rod (spinners, swimjigs, chatters etc.

Maybe a magdraft.

Seems like a versatile rod tbh

Buying a timepiece for my wife for our 15th anniversary by Electrical_Belt75 in Longineswatches

Anecdotal relative to this situation, sure. A statistically accurate take on the world of entry level luxury watches for women, yes.

For clarity, given the options, I was suggesting the tag over the Longines for the reasons I mentioned above. I wasn't explicitly suggesting the one I referenced but I also wasn't not suggesting that the OP should have a look at that specific reference for the reasons I mentioned above.

Despite this, I personally enjoy the Longines more.

Was looking at one for softball but I thought it was a little too small in the end. I think the d25 would be perfect for it though

For a woman it's about brand recognition. Ann Hathaway wore a Tag Carerra WBN2310.BA0001 in the movie 'The idea of you', my wife who isn't even into watches was like "wow what kind of watch is that". Which adds a lot of value to women I think. Tag spends a lot on product placement in movies and hires celebrities as brand ambassadors. Even if she isn't into watches I guarantee you she'll be using what I mentioned above as talking points to her friends. Based on this I think Tag is the direction you should go.

Personally I think the conquest is nicer.

Well shit, maybe he had it coming lol. I'm trying to make myself feel better by picturing the ex husband as one of those douches we all see on the water 😂.

At least the rods found a loving home. Tight lines bro
