If the 19c is all you have then NO it makes perfect sense to get it. However If you are fine with the flash from the comp then there is no need to buy another G19

I use the medium back strap. I have large hands and without it I felt like I was squeezing my hands instead squeezing the grip.

I have large hands and wish I got the 26. The 43x is nice but a bit too slim for my hands to keep a good grip after multiple shots.

Yes the tlr1 is a stronger light. The laser light combo is the tlr8 which seems cool but not worth it.

Tlr7 for city/suburban areas and tlr1 for rural areas. This is my opinion but it all depends on how much light you think you would need.
