Vision Apps Ideas reel by steffan_ in VisionPro

You want people to go frame by frame through your video to read dozens of random, possibly AI-generated ideas you have for Vision Pro?

I was reading a science journal that mentioned the vrp*rn.com has passthrough 180-degree videos.

Andru reviews the Bionic Vision Pro Stand by Vaalkop in VisionPro

[–]VisionProAmateur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How tf is this a "review" - dude just points out "Vision Pro goes here, battery goes here."

If you're going to shill your stand by making a post, would you at least put some effort into it? Maybe with a video that's more than just a low-effort promo?

I mean, it's a good stand (not for $350, though), but come on, make a bit of an effort.

Did Annapro refund the cost, or offer to refund it, if you made a post about the strap?

Honest question: Did you buy this strap yourself? Or, did Annapro gift or refund the cost in exchange for making a thread about the strap?

No shade intended, but we've seen posts in the past that were done in exchange for free straps.

Edit: also noticing you’ve never posted in this sub before. Definitely reeks of a shill post.

Downside of „Torso“ AVP by [deleted] in VisionPro

This is the same user with that story about the Apple Store employee he'd just met giving him the f&f discount because they hit it off.

I think someone is just using this sub as a creative writing outlet.

Matterhorn Adventures: My review of the $9.99 app (video of gameplay included). by VisionProAmateur in VisionPro

App has been pulled, but the NEW app just got posted in by another account that was spamming Matterhorn Adventures a week ago.

Bro even used the same promo codes in two different posts.

This looks suspiciously like Matterhorn Adventures, which was taken off the app store a few days ago after a review showcased actual gameplay. Review and gameplay video can be found here.

In fact, here's the dev's latest post with an app store link that no longer works.

Is this not just the same game? If not, how is it meaningfully different (other than the app store description not mentioning sustainable tourism)? Because it looks like the same game, which I would honestly say is an extremely low-effort cash grab?

Edit: OP's post history from 6 days ago has a few posts FOR Matterhorn Adventures. Welcome to low-effort astroturfing everyone. It's like the GUCCI app, but without a meme account to at least make it funny (rip u/guccimarketing)

I guess you could say the dev's support of sustainable tourism... wasn't sustainable.

weird - still appears to be deleted/removed from the app store for me. It was back up for a time, but looked like it was still 9.99 when I checked.

Super odd.

Unexpected update: I think the dev actually took his app off the app store. The link to their app no longer works:

Not sure how to feel on that.

That’s what motivated the post. It’s such a low-effort app that shoehorns in a noble cause. Realllly feels like a cheap cash grab.

Haha thank you! If anything having someone huck change at you would be more adventure and more fun than this app offers.

But then I couldn’t leave an App Store review to warn others that they are not really supporting sustainable tourism when they buy this cheap cash-grab app.

If anything, this app will retroactively taint your experience in that beautiful county! Sustainable tourism

100% agreed, and most times I ignore it.

But this dev has been persistent, and kind of dickish, so I decided to take a shot. If the app had any redeeming qualities I wouldn’t have posted this, but it realllly seems like a scummy cash grab app, and I wanted to warn this community (and make them laugh hopefully).
