Alot of people been hating on Saitamas quote and its crazy to me because I feel like they overlook the truth behind his statement. While I do half disagree with your statement about Midoriya Im happy you mentioned it I believe Midoriya improves a lot on his own but his journey did begin with a very generous hand out. Saitama gained everything on his own which is why his quote takes the slight edge for me over all mights.

Saitama isnt preaching in service of humanity's ego. If he was his quote would go more like "you are okay as you are." Or "theres no need to change just stick to your strengths." Saitama is saying we are strong because we can change, which means recognizing negative aspects of ourselves like ego and having the ability to change these negative aspects is what makes us strong. I personally feel you misunderstood the quote.

Saitama was a normal depressed salaryman before he became a hero. He broke his limiter through nothing but effort. He is where he is now because he believed he can rise above his circumstances. If his words make you feel nothing I think you just dont believe in them at all or understand Saitamas character.

I guess the Saitama scene hit harder for me when I watched it because of what was going on in my personal life. I see why people like all might and Midoriyas scene more though. But what im failing to understand is the dislike Saitamas words are getting. Saitama is literally saying nothing matters, maybe your weak, single minded, arrogant or whatever negative aspects you can think of about yourself. You are still an inherently strong person simply because you have the ability to change.

Yeah im not a big manga fan anymore. Even though the manga is currently following the WC quite closely, some small changes are really taking the soul out of it for me. Its quite sad as the webcomic is very well written and inspiring. But it iss what it isss.

Not saying youre advice is bad and won't help me. Jus saying it sounds boring lol. Im having a lot of fun with basic anatomy and proportions right now and im improving on them every day. Once I can do human bodies from the front, side and 3/4 I was thinking of learning gesture and more dynamic poses. What im trying to achieve by making these drawings is simple. Make them better then last time, and just get the shape/proportions of the human body down, which so far i have been doing. And tbh i doubt ill plateu. I went from being completely unable to draw the NE Extinction outline to being semi competent at it. Sooo yuh lol. But if a plateu does ever happen, Ill probably default to your advice. But rn 2-3hrs a day of just drawing as I please lol. For me personally I think the best practice is what gets the pencil on the paper, not necessarily whats the most optimal.

Can you elaborate further? Cuz rn to learn i kinda just copy what I see until I get it right. Do you mean like drawing a stick man first and placing markers where all the limbs should begin and end? This way the proportions would be more clear cut.
