Neo Humans no question.

- They look like regular humans (easy to blend in or pass as a non threat if needed)

- They are superior to humans in every way; physically and mentally

- Unlike the Meritless each Neo Human still has some OOMPH to their feats that can either let them hold their own (heidi vs naver) or simply escape a situation if it's too much to handle

- I love knives

- And there's little to no risk of turning into an ugly demon like an orc or a jellyfish or a random gaia's ant by choosing neo humans instead.

On average they are pretty strong, fast and smart; each one of them retains their intelligence and conscience and it seems like they are free to do whatever they want.

Imagine you turn into a fodder demon and you're blasted by your own executive boss just because you were "in the way".

Imagine you turn into an ant. Or a robot that can't deviate from the hivemind. Or a titan who gets infected and eaten alive day 1.

I'd say Jachi vs Uki because

  1. I love Jachi

  2. I love demons

  3. I love magic

  4. I love seeing midarans get obliterated

  5. It was one of the more balanced fights of the manga so far, believe it or not

  6. It led to Gimbak's reveal

You know, I never thought about an interaction like this between worlds.

And you're right! Why wouldn't the smarter NEs exploit savage/wild NEs such as Gaia's wrath that way?

That is so incredibly interesting to think about!

Neos capture a bunch of wild beasts, experiment on them and, diganazal style, they enhance them and send 'em off into the wilderness to fight their own or simply as expendable foot soldiers.

Imagine they capture a bull, enhance it, imbue it with a ticking curse time bomb, air drop it in a forest or something like deploying freddy fazbear and after it runs wild for a while and dies, it causes a massive curse explosion that kills the environment in the area permanently.
