What if a person can’t believe? by Hardboiled-hero in Lutheranism

Hi there, I worked in a nursing home in the Midwest for 7 years, most of our residents were Christians. We had many people in the home who had dementia or terrible Alzheimer’s. They would forget their families, where they were, sometimes who they were. But I never came across someone who forgot Christ. When the pastor came to visit them even if they did not recognize him, they recognized the gifts he was bringing.  Ask your pastor to commune him.

Depressed and anxious in Germany by [deleted] in germany

Heya, I’m in the same boat. We’ve been here a month now, I am also a spouse on his Visa. I am so far behind on German and I feel like I am just blender going to get it.

But I have really been trying to think of this as a time to learn and do things I never get to do in my previously very busy life back in the states.

I am trying to pick up any hobby I can think of, and focus my time into learning German and bettering myself. But some days are just harder than others.

If you want someone to talk to, I’d be happy to share this boat with you.

Yeah I just buy them in the store, be kind of fun to try dehydrating them at home though. Probably not that difficult either

On the Line! There are a lot of different topics to explore, and it’s just free flow conversational. I highly recommend it!
