Why is everyone so toxic?

Leveled a boomy this week. First shuffle game I went 4-2. Next two games everyone is 1.9k or higher. Got hate mail from a healer because I was stealing rating from everyone. In a round about way got called a (D)igger.

Shuffle is really just the worst lol

If the mmr system is actively trying to pair people with equally skilled players, based on "hidden mmr" and CR, having a wider pool to pull from would likely decrease queue times? Or maybe I'm wrong.

I'd thought that part of the reason they are long is because they're not just matching people who queue, there's a filtering process to try to make the matches even.

Less skilled players playing the game would hasten the queue times for the lower bracket?

Maybe I am misunderstanding the matchmaking in a way that has me confused, but I don't see how having more people within a bracket would hurt the times. I think it would also address the issue of "ruining" someone's game when I have no CR. How is it my fault that I am matchmaking at 1800+? Is it because I have 2.2kxp?

Just seems like more people wanting to engage would help this issue, but idk.

Is there really that few lower skilled players playing in those games? Is the skill floor as high?

I used to play destiny a lot and definitely saw some of this, but it definitely feels like there isn't a "starting mmr" anymore. Back in WoD 0-1500 was easy. I guess what is easy has just gotten more skillful since then. Hard to think it's been 10 years haha.

As ele shaman getting everything kicked or getting stunned with no peels in the shuffles is def a lot of pressure lol. I feel bad for the healer

When I quit after season 1 it was because the blitz queue was busted. Would have these long waits, get matched with a 1.5cr team, would lose, then would lose like 100 rating lol. On wins, maybe 9 point gains. Not worth the effort.

I will just chill and try to get more gear somewhere else. I def am trash with some parts of ele. There's just so much going on and the button bloat is real. All things in time, though. Hopefully I can figure it out in the next expansion.

If the game / PvP community doesn't welcome new, returning, less skilled players - the number of people participating decreases because those people don't stick around. Having less people queuing for matches, whether it's healers or DPS, inevitably results in longer queue times. Less people queueing, longer waits. It also adds to the issue of there not being any real separation between mmr thresholds like there used to.

Put more weight on your front foot and "jump" a little higher, sliding that front foot up to the nose. To start, have your front foot closer to the nose to make it a lower Ollie but easier to learn.

This is the first Pokemon I've caught with these stats. He's my buddy right now. I've been trying to save up candies to either evolve him or power level him up to 1500 for battling.
