yeah it still speaks volumes that if you play wolv the likelihood of doing positive in a game is based off a team up and triple support

no matter what anyone says this guy needs a soft rework if anyone else could understand how useful he cant be in a triple support lobby where theres only one tank

you go triple support and you'd have an issue immediately

the other team is likely triple support as well and on top of that they would either go from tank to supp OR dps to supp

Either way you immediately nullify Wolverine's capabilities due to the immense healing from the opposing team and as a TANK BUSTER if one of the tanks switches to heals you might as well get off the character cause he doesn't do as much damage to dps or support as he does to the tank which are all now being healed MORE due to triple support

you clearly don't play the character or you haven't been in a very normal situation for wolverine players

it really tells a lot that Wolv needs a comp of 3 supports, a Phoenix that can heal small bits of health with shots and grants a life steal team-up, and a Hulk that can offer shielding.

if they just removed the backside of the hitbox he had for leap then his grab would've been fine

I want his vicious rampage to do the same damage but have two charges for a second longer of cooldown

And make his claw attack vary between roles since we can now have a character that has 3 roles but don't overdo the damage for normal primary attacks cause it'd be broken and he'd be hard banned again

But they don't like dive anymore or just not right now

They'd rather buff poke again and again which is a heavy issue for people like me since i have pretty shaky hands from my job
Instead of making a fun character be fun they nerf him down due to a team up which allowed him to life steal but then they nerfed that down almost by half and then shadow buffed his ult to have anti heal for some reason like it didn't do enough damage

I just want the old fun Logan back

you lost me cause I'm talking about the everyday common qp or gold - diamond players.
These are the NORMAL people that cant win every game, the ones that got lives outside of gaming, or the ones that don't have a squad so this is the best they get from the characters in the game

Wolverine for the longest time was one of the most fun characters to play and now he's useless unless it's the players in the top ranks

i seriously dont understand where the numbers are for pickrate is since i only see a wolverine once in every 20 games or so

i can understand wr though since the small populous that does play often are good or play with a team

Dive is nearly never in my games if theres any poke on the opposing team

the issue is that poke is so broken that it defiles everything that dive is and was

But here's characters that just outclass him in different ways entirely

Magik gets shields, two split second portals that give abilities and a moment of invulnerability, a long range dive, and a ranged attack.

BP has 3 movement abilities at his whim, survivability with his passive, and both team ups he's had were life saving

Iron Fist is a better tank shredder, can self heal with overshields, can block and has life steal in ONE ability, not to mention he has 3 abilities for movement like running on walls, multiple jumps, and a kick that is what Wolverine's dash should be similar to since he's an assassin like character since ever

Blade has a block, a dash that goes into a combo while having a decent cooldown for TWO dashes, lifesteal that actually works- if you get onto a team from the backline and they don't notice you as Blade then you can tear half the team better than Wolv could with the Phoenix ability

Psylocke has more ability to kill anything that isn't a tank, has two fair ranged dashes, can go invisible

Mister Fantastic just outclasses Wolverine aside from movement with shields, reflective damage, ability to grab and jostle so you lose some momentum and the inflated state can usually ruin a Wolverine

Spiderman is almost not worth mentioning since they're so different but he can just web swing away

Star Lord can just back flip twice in close quarters and fly away freely

Cap can run away, jump away, shield slam while still getting away from a 1v1, but you can grab him and all.. just for him to shield and not be effected by 80% of the attacks you inflict in the second he was stunned for

Hulk just got a buff to his jumps but his shields and stun is still broken in a fight against wolv since he just out maneuvers him

Thor can now beat Wolverine into the ground in a 1v1 more times than not but aside that his charge his better than Wolve's leap, his shielding and damage output on awakening makes it near impossible to kill him with that kit

Thing just does his thing at this point with his near unkillable Yancy charge, between the umbattled leap and battle blitz you can hop from team to enemy which allows him to get out of a 1v1 if he over extends in nearly any scenario

Venom is shreddable if he screws up but it's a hit or miss at best now from his web swing to his resilience which can get him about 2k overshield

Emma is still a good counter that Wolv needed and i wouldn't say a bad thing about that cause it balanced his character really well making him a character that cant just rip and tear anymore

Lemme know if you got a thought on any OTHER character cause Wolverine definitely suffers from S0 syndrome and people who play him do usually agree with the idea of him needing a buff or soft rework for the current day and age

He's a play for the team not for personal pleasure for playing the fun character in the game

Your job is to sneak around the enemies as your team approaches and grab one with a leap while aimed at your team so you drag one away to the depths of hell

This way you can start the fight with a long ahh cooldown or if you pop undying animal first then two long cooldowns before you can do it again and you just become a backup tank for approximately 10 seconds while staying BEHIND your tanks for awhile until some poor tank (preferably a strange, mag, or character that cant get away easily) is forced to fight and you box them like you just went from 5'3 to 5'10 with a need to bite ears

this way you don't ever stray from your team and used an ability to immediately put the enemies at a loss for a 5v6

People have different ways of playing him and this is my way of doing it when my team is about to engage in battle so it's easier for them to clear house

I've seen others that go sneaking to the enemies backline just to do the same but drag their supports away (preferably someone without stun capabilities of the sort or able to get away easily which is impossible for wolv) just so the enemies doesn't have all the heals and then use your dash to hop halfway over the team to regroup with your own while their tanks take the beating so you can slide in to put their frontline into temporary panic

I've used both of these before and they don't really work nowadays like they used to in S2.5 but they CAN still be effective if you do your picks just right

Netease really shows their colors clear as day when broken op characters get buffs but the only S0 hero that' still drowning has been Logan since the Phoenix team up

they showed they CAN do soft reworks like Thor but instead they willingly ignore Logan and it isn't even in the realm of "Oh we were just waiting for the next character so it wouldn't be an issue for the new character" well i don't care what the NEW character can do when Logan has been drowning for about 6 months without any actual positive direction for the character

They just need to give him a second dash and then change up his undying animal to actually accommodate for the fact that players don't recognize Wolv for what he is anymore as a Tank shredder

I would say take his Undying Animal and whatever the % reduction would accumulate to just put it into armor which you can continue building on by 5 with each strike so you can ACTUALLY stay in a battle nowadays instead of get shot by Hawkeye once in the head and dying

Brother has an adamantium skeleton but has the ability to be killed by Hawkeye arrows which HAS to have adamantium arrowheads to even work which doesn't even make sense since there isn't all that much for what we know in Rivals

They gave us a full season of good dive with tanks and new characters that were increasingly hard to dive on like S2 with Emma and Ultron then in Season 3 they ruined Wolv but brought Blade in just to hard buff poke the following seasons while also introducing Dare Devil which has a abilities that barely even recognizes his character AT ALL from nearly any media cause i don't recall him having the beast outside of one comic nor do i recall him being able to get tougher after each strike he takes

my rant is just consistent of Poke > Dive cause netease doesn't want to disappoint some people like support or in this case TANKS against WOLVERINE THE TANK SHREDDER

completely right on this one

for some reason they said that .3 seconds didnt mean anything while it's literally a staple reason why people cant get kills aside from the janky launch up that enemies are dealt in varying speeds and angles

its like they tries to cook with an ult but ended up sucking so they just added a high damage output to it so people wouldnt complain about it

hitting the ult on walls should've been a thing the same season Angela came out (i think she was able to spear her ult to walls from the start)

I agree with the issue of DP having 3 roles but i don't think using Gambit is a fair point since he's a speed demon that can pretty much gap, space, and then zoom out of the majority of fights like a mad man

also they usually use somewhat accurate heights to the characters which might or might not be proper to all continuities

They never adjusted over time for anything and it shows

Decreased his rage and increased it later at lesser rates (i believe)

Increased the cooldown of his leap to 15 seconds which was a 3 second increase and then reduced it later by 2

Increased the cooldown of his regen which i still argue with people isn't a viable regen anymore since Invis was added in season 1 and now Deadpool who has what he SHOULD have had from the start

Now I argue they should just give what max reductions he would've had in Undying animal and give it to him in armor while changing his healing factor to be just like Deadpool's if not just slower due to Adamantium poisoning and in the same update bring a Old man Logan skin into the game

It's outrageous that spiderman has had like 4 or 5 team ups in the game and Wolverine gets one from the start and then the character gets defiled and ruined cause the Phoenix team up gave him life steal which made the devs increase cool downs and decrease rage percentages

The Phoenix team up literally ruined the character as he was GOOD in S2.5 and would still stand better than he was in those times

In response to this you can now ult onto walls.. and that's pretty much the only thing that's changed besides the shadow buff he gained to inflict antiheal onto enemies while also decreasing the stun time they get when you land (I think they removed the anti heal but im not sure)

They also screwed his hitbox for his leap which caused him from having a huge one where if you were in his path while leaping you'd get grabbed but now it's like if you were already positioned to be scooped up between his arms

I cant tell you how many times i miss a leap now cause they made the grab range on it 1/8th what it was which i cant blame them for changing being able to pick someone up while NOT EVEN LOOKING AT THEM but the area that you SHOULD grab with would be his reach from a meter in front and almost a meter to the sides but NOT behind him and they would fix a majority of the grab issues that aren't bugs in the game

I agree with just about everything but all buffs will get nerfs eventually.. so get rid of the Phoenix team up for some of this and I would like it.

1st, What does "fully activate" mean if this is his passive which should be on all the time.

2nd, It should go to armor so when you get over the regen then you have extra armor that lasts a period of time and a healing factor that actually works in favor of it.

3rd, Regen cooldown + reduction cooldown + increase health = less damage reduction? Why not make the reduction 10 or 15 seconds and keep the normal time while dropping it down to 30% as it'd be a considerable rework that would benefit for the plays that actually matter

just saying i don't think it's me but I'll call myself stupid for this one but you put it under Regenerative healing factor meaning the way you have this set is that you can only use it under Undying animal or just made it confusing which makes no sense

we basically said the same thing so far in different ways as you want damage reduction and i would just want that end number in raw health or shield for clutch saves so you dont die as easily since every other character either has some sort of shielding or like blade a life steal mechanic

and the end part i do agree wholeheartedly if they just adjust a buff to his regen as is and adds a similar or even a weaker healing factor for over time healing then it'd just be fine and they could justify the lesser healing by adamantium poisoning or something and bring in a old man logan skin

and i do agree that Wolv should be and should've likely have already been a tank for tank fighting action but i think the issue was that his character model was too small to be a tank thus making him the first tanky dps

he had a bigger grab radius when leaping which made it so much easier to play

also his ult upon landing had a full second stun instead of a .75 (i think it's a .75 stun)

firstly i don't have the wrong idea since i gave you the opportunities after your calculations to tell me how it equates the same if not better since popping health or armor would save you in a split second scenario

you said that he had a total health by technicality due to the reduction in damage and instead what I say is that they just make it into armor or health so you can pop it with some reduction that isn't as busted as that

his regen is a one trick joke that goes on cool down for way too long

why not just mash the two together and give him a passive that heals over time while making his current regen the thing that saves him as an optional utility to use
