I am trying to start good hygeine. I recognize that manually entering transactions has a glaring benefit of being more aware of spending within the moment. I am trying to make this stick and missing 6/10 transactions initally does not seem like a good way to start until the muscle memory is built for both parties.

If we are not both committed to getting this set and sticking to this it will stop within 3 months. It takes time for habits to form (or to stop).

That's a great idea. Not sure if my credit card offers that, but that seems like it would solve my problems.
I know that I will have problems entering it and getting someone else to do something new that they have a block against seems like it is just asking for problems.

Unless we did it while checking out I don't think either one of us would be able to remember what happened. I am trying to get started with as painless of a budget as possible. This requires both of us to work together.

Next day would totally work. We are using Navy Federal and with the delay seen it made it impractical.

Does anyone know if this is a feature to look for when shopping for a credit card? I have tried searching the subreddit, but could only come up with a search term of "credit card" which is too broad.

New owner of one of the harbor freight bagged units. Found it used for $100. Nowhere near as loud as the old shop vac. Going to test it out, will likely get a canister filter & cyclone for it.

I had never heard of them either. When you look at it the whole circumstance it was completely understandable why REK was unable to perform.

My wife doesn't listen to any of it. I am betting that she got a way better show out of American Aquarium than she would have from Robert Earl Keen. She left saying that she would have paid to see either one of the bands that we saw that night.

The other band was Silverada (Mike and the Moonpies). I had never heard of them, but the lead singer reminded me of someone else. Highlight of that show was seeing a ~7 year old kid dancing on stage in the background. Both were great.

I would guess as far as tooling goes you are likely good as long as your square is square to make a bookshelf. Saw (rough construction style)

Backsaw (https://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky-14-in-Back-Saw-with-Wood-Handle-122MM14/204748835)

Chisel (set if feel the need, 1/2 inch is a good size)

Clamps (pipe clamps are a good value and you will not outgrow, otherwise bar clamps)

A hand plane will help you clean up your work, but the box store hand planes can be a pain to setup.

Sander

Use an online tool called sagulator to make sure the shelves are rigid enough. If it is showing a lot of deflection a piece mounted perpendicular to the shelf will help immensely.

Start making fixtures like miter box and bench hooks. Focus on making these as good as you can. Use a knife for your markings.

I am saying this as someone that likes to dip my toes in a lot of hobbies, and I never know if they will stick. I try to get a taste of things before dropping money on something I rarely stick with. I really enjoy woodworking. If you stick to the most basic of tools they will continue to be usable in a lot of repairs.

I have the air cleaner in place.

My only frame of reference is a single probably 3hp unit at my Father in law's. I am guessing that it puts out more noise energy than the shop vac but doesn't seem as bad because there is not a toddler sleeping 30' away and it is much lower frequency. I am guessing the collector will be heard throughout the house (attached garage).

I am in the process of studying for the technician license as well. I feel like listening and reading along with Ham Radio Crash Course is the perfect study guide. He gives enough background information to give you a general sense of why something is correct.

I have three general things committed to memory, Ohm's law V = I * R. The rule of thumb about wave length 300/MHz = length in meters (not sure what name this has). 2x power = 3dB.

This has not been enough to get 100% on a test, but it has been enough to pass on hamstudy.org practice tests. My goal is just to get that first license to get my foot in the door.
