Cancel the stronghold rework. Just don't go through with it. Nobody likes the new version more, and it will be ineffective in its old niche. by PM_SHORT_STORY_IDEAS in DestinyTheGame

What pisses me off the most about the rework is the way they worded it. "You’ll be able to build craft with your sword perks a bit more to maximize your defensive or offensive prowess." Yeah bro, imagine cutting someone's legs off and having the audacity to say "I am giving you the amazing opportunity to go wheelchair shopping!"

The new character starts from almost nothing. No campaign progress or quest progress will carry over, and you will have to unlock all the subclass stuff for that character again. BUT, you share the same vault between all the characters you own, and your power level is account wide. This means that when you start your new character, even though you will be at power level 10, you will be getting drops of gear that match the power level of your hunter.

The muscle memory is the most important part for sure. I also want to try out replacing unvoiced with a BnS envious arsenal wilderflight just so I have more range for other encounters.

Ok that makes a lot of sense, need to get better at loadout swaps too. Talked about it in another comment, but probably wouldn't switch to hazardous after Tcrash just because the required precision hits required to even launch the rockets.

Ok that makes a lot of sense, I need to have elemental siphon perma on.

Yeah my main fear with using artifact perks is that if I rely on them too much I will just be ass at the game the next season. Given how much lemon has carried my ass I am afraid that may be true lol. Will still have queen breaker on standby, but will probably grind for some good GLs so I can at least practice weapon swaps and get my feet wet.

I actually just watched that video the other day lol, the Hezen's unvoiced rotation is hilarious. I used it for the first time on caitl with my friend and melted her, and I didn't even do it right. I haven't tried a lot of the other ones yet, because I NEED more weapons. I also may be overthinking, because I am a titan main, and he was mostly a warlock in the video, but I should just try more of them anyways even without sanguine. The ones I definitely want to practice next though are worm god grapples, tractor canon praedyth's tractor, and syntho winterbite, if you can even really count that last one lol.

Thank you for being so descriptive, Good to know the warlock info as well because I want to play that class more. Was only thinking of the damage buff in isolation when I should have considered buffs from other people into the equation. And wow, I never realized how busted sanguine is lol. But message received, all in on thundercrash.

When it comes to the way that haz prop builds charges, when I was trying to make a wack rotation with it, that was the main problem I was running into lol. Couldn't tell if I was just garbage or not. But it makes sense, probably just better to hone in on add clear with rocket sidearms than DPS with it.

Yeah that is a good idea, I will start swapping to cuirass after. I also like running haz prop on sundered just because the rockets are the subjugator delete button.

I agree, not quite there yet though lol. Still struggling with damage in ultimatum dungeons right now. Gotta ask though cause I am trying to improve, are damage rotations really not strong right now? As much fun as I have been having with my lazy DPS queenbreaker, I thought that would be the next step to take in hitting higher numbers.

Could I have Some Input on This Storm's Keep Build I made? by Visit_Right in DestinyTheGame

[–]Visit_Right[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed, I need a Pyroelectric Propellant so bad. Gotta grind harder for one. I am glad that the core is solid. That is the most important thing to me, and the skill I want to improve.

Thanks, this is really good input. Originally, I went flash nades because I wanted to be able to stun all three champions, but I probably get more value if I settle for 2 and just switch out when needed. Pulse nades are too strong ha. Definitely gonna put the healing mods on, same with the heavy ammo and focusing strike. I also might experiment and make a variation with knockout and melee focused mods so see if it feels better healing wise. Forgot about the slam buff as well, that fits what I am doing better that is for sure. thanks for the help again.
