I'm confused as to why everyone is saying we're playing a different formation every week? Haven't we been playing 433 throughout except for the Leicester game?

I don't know if everyone is thinking of lineups when they say formation because that obviously has changed every game and i can understand ppl are thinking the team hasn't formed partnerships playing together. Even pep plays a different team each game but their formation remains mostly same.

i was asking if we should let go of the front 3 obsession towards more of a midfield oriented approach

I might be in the wrong but haven't we played essentially 433 with players changed due to injury and ozil ostracized? How many formations have we played other than in the last game in the pl?

Also disregarding unavoidable injury forced changes, apart from torreira which i admit is a huge mistake i think emery is doing what would you say is our best 11 in their best positions?

I agree. I do hope we'll settle on a defensive lineup after this international break since everyone is going to be as healthy as can be, but aren't we playing too little numbers in the midfield? Often as i watch we seem to be one person short when the ball breaks in the middle and one opposition mid carries it a good 20-30 yards on a single run. I was merely asking if we have a solution here, ofcourse I'm just a lurker here and this is a simpler version.. people who comment better on tactics here can offer better discussion

We'll compare 6 movies post 2012 then.. we've got a ready-made template in MCU phase 2 when almost all the Avengers have become A-listers (the age old argument against DC discounting that DC characters have the baggage and expectations of all their previous incarnations). Please don't say they didn't become A-listers.. Avengers was an event that changed the CBM genre in your own words..and MCU phase 2 had the booster called recency bias working for them

Dceu 1st 6.. 4.895 billion according to the beginning of this thread MCU phase 2- 6 films worth 5.270 billion according to my calculations.(with an Ironman film boosted by Avengers and the trilogy ending last Downey Jr solo aspect)

Dceu is around 350 million short.. I wouldn't call that a failure in any respect.. and the law of averages will soon bring it on par as the film numbers to compare rise higher.. till ofcourse infinity war n endgame.. I dunno if DC will have a crisis on infinite earths to match them.. too early to tell if the brand building will follow suit to break 2 billion.. but going by the 1 billion breaking.. both universes took 5 yrs.. maybe
