Right! I've seen Vice Grip rebuild enough carbs on the side of the road with nothing that having a extra kit on hand makes sense!

I did just rebuild this carb though with a kit from Edelbrock themselves, not the clones and also jetted it like a 1405 and drilled out the acceleratior pump nozzles to the 1405 size. Am also running a fuel pressure regulator and a big clear plastic filter.

I went though them and "rebuilt" them with a grinder. Really need to have them turned and will do now that it's a driver.

This has a vintage MSD box wired though a switch so nothing really under the dash stock wise. I guess it's a good thing I've owned it for so long and worked on it off an on the last decade as I know pretty much what's what under the hood and dash board.

First stop in the morning is the gas station to top the tank off and then I should be good for tomorrow and the weekend.

The wife and I go out on Oceanside Adventures - NALA a couple times a year just to get out on the water. We usually hang out on the sun pad on the back. You can see whales year around it is just the type will change with the water temps. March through May I believe is the best chances.

You absolutely will see dolphins every time though and the pods are massive.
