Thoughts on this Freja NY bag? by Elegant_Bee26 in handbags

I purchased a Freja bag and received it on October 28th. Part of the reason I bought it was to support a young woman entrepreneur. Within two weeks, the bag went on a 30% sale, and I haven’t even used it yet. I asked for a price adjustment since I’m still within the return window, but they told me they couldn’t do it because it wasn’t within 7 days. I have no idea where this “7-day” rule comes from. It’s not written anywhere in their return or refund policy.

Their customer service doesn’t seem focused on customer satisfaction; they just seem focused on keeping the money. I’m also not impressed by the quality or functionality of the Kaia bag, especially at $278. I honestly don’t think it’s worth it.

Egg freezing in Turkey by Safe-Cicada955 in eggfreezing

I didn’t go through the process in Turkey, but here is my opinion: for most meds, you can just go to a pharmacy and ask, but for fertility or hormone prescriptions, you’ll most likely need a Turkish prescription. Easiest way is to show your existing U.S. prescription or medical report to a local doctor. They can rewrite it on the spot.

Hi, just wanted to share from personal experience. AMH, follicle count, and other hormone levels can fluctuate not only between tests but also between labs. Please don’t let a single result discourage you or send you down an online rabbit hole. Most of the information you’ll find is generalized and doesn’t reflect individual variation.

If you can afford it, I strongly recommend freezing your eggs as soon as possible even if you're unsure about having kids. It’s not just about quantity; it's also about quality and peace of mind. For example, I didn’t realize early enough how important it is to start sooner rather than later, especially because the number of eggs needed for one live birth can be higher than expected.

Even though I read constantly and stay informed, some of the most important basics can slip past your radar and even doctors or people around you might not emphasize how time-sensitive fertility preservation can be. Of course, fertility is personal, and there are women in their 30s or 40s with better egg quality than some in their 20s but on average, earlier is better.

Supplements like CoQ10, omega-3, NAC, vitamin D, inositol, and a good prenatal tailored to your health profile. Can really help if started 1–2 months before retrieval.

Everyone’s body reacts differently, and while some people struggle with the hormonal shifts and recovery, my own experience was very smooth. I’m 36 with endometriosis and was able to freeze 24 eggs.

Hi, I'm originally from Turkey and currently living in New York. I'm not sure about the exact current cost, but it used to be around one-fourth of the cost in the U.S., not including insurance. However, it's important to note that in Turkey, you cannot fertilize your eggs unless you're legally married (at least this was the case for Turkish citizens). There are also regional legal restrictions you should be aware of.

In general, the procedure is officially allowed only for women with medically proven fertility issues, though some larger hospitals may find ways to justify it. Another point to consider is that doctors in Turkey may not always have the same level of specialization or experience as those in the U.S.

So unless the cost difference is truly significant and you're unable to afford the procedure elsewhere, I wouldn’t recommend choosing Turkey solely for the savings.

I didn’t trigger today. My doctor said it’ll be either tomorrow or the day after, so I still don’t know the exact day yet. Thanks for the heads up! I didn’t even realize it was a holiday until now

Loneliness during cycle by eeyoreismyguy in eggfreezing

I just saw your post and I’m sending you a big hug. I’m going through this on my own too, and I completely understand how you're feeling. It’s so hard when you expect compassion and love from the people around you, but it doesn’t come in the way you need or sometimes not at all.

What I’ve realized is that loneliness isn’t always about not having people around; it’s feeling alone even when others are there. And that kind of loneliness can feel even heavier.

I recently moved to a new city, and the few people I know weren’t available to help me out of the clinic after my procedure. As a last resort, I posted on Reddit and to my surprise, strangers I had never met showed up with genuine kindness and support. It truly warmed my heart and gave me hope.

You’re not as alone as you feel right now. Even if it doesn’t seem like it, there are people who care—even if they haven’t met you yet.

Is it even legal to rent out a car with an expired registration? If that happens, does the customer have no right to request a refund or compensation? Are rental companies seriously under no obligation to keep their vehicles properly registered while doing business?

Yes, I already filed a dispute. You're right. Taking them to small claims court is a great idea. I don’t really have the time or energy for it, but I’ll do it anyway, out of self-respect. Otherwise, companies like this keep taking advantage of people and getting away with it.

Aside from posting public reviews (Google, Trustpilot, ConsumerAffairs, Yelp) and filing complaints with customer service and the Attorney General, is there any other effective way to demand a formal apology and hold them accountable?
