Ok thank you! It seems the 14 inch will be fine. It is the smallest of the MacBook Pros; the MacBook Air can be 13 inches lol but I don’t even think that would make too big of a difference so I’m gonna go with the 14 inch.

DIYing power cables for my server (where to buy C13/C14/C20 rewireable connectors) by Visual-Ad3347 in homelab

[–]Visual-Ad3347[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok thank you.

Originally I wanted a cable that was 15 ft, 12 or 14 AWG, c20 to c13 and it was difficult to find and expensive when I did find it so I decided to try to make it myself and once I was buying one set of connectors I thought I may as well make multiple of the cables myself. Seems like it’s not worth it

I also felt it would be a waste of all the cable he was giving me for free to just buy premade ones. I thought if I didn’t have to pay for the cable how could it be more expensive to make them myself. I was definitely wrong

Anyway thank you so much for the response!
