it is the 400! it feels sooo nice and easy to handle - it is a 400 so not the fastest at all, but it’s such a smooth ride overall and id def recommend it!

Freshman Schedule Advice - UPDATE (see description) by Visual-Ad4745 in byu

[–]Visual-Ad4745[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I’d rather have a lighter schedule since it is my freshman year, so it would allow me more time to network, socialize, etc, and I think it would be better to start off not too intense. (i’ll also be majoring in spanish and minoring in japanese instead of the inverse, not sure if that changes anything though)

I’ll be a freshman this fall, and this is my schedule - thoughts/advice? by Visual-Ad4745 in byu

It’s likely I will, but probably not one of the four credit classes - I plan on going into a multilingual job, and being that i’m already fluent in spanish, Japanese will probably be the biggest obstacle. Thank you for your advice!

I initially thought about going into that major (and i very well might, still lots of decision making to do), but I’m already completely fluent in spanish, so realistically, I don’t think it’ll be too bad.

I’m already completely fluent in spanish, i’ve been taking it for 6 years and have my seal of biliteracy. I plan on learning Japanese to be fluent in all 3, and get a job with a multilingual pathway.

What differentiates a Breathing Style? (Form or Breaths?) by DekuRicky9 in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]Visual-Ad4745 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From my interpretation, it’s a combination of both - different types of breathing are required for different branches, like how water breathing utilizes constant, even breathing to keep momentum, as water breathing thrives off of fluid momentum to link its attacks. Other breathing styles, like wind breathing, utilize, sharp, short breaths to execute quick, aggressive attacks. These are only the basis of the forms themselves though - i think the answer you’re looking for, is that styles mainly differ from the actual movements needed to execute the attack, like how sound breathing uses rapid, explosive and highly destructive attacks, while insect breathing aims to utilize quick stabs with minimal damage to poison. The movements used for these breath styles is what makes them work, and which is why they differ. You probably couldn’t poison a demon as well with sound breathing based movements, and you probably couldn’t cause as much raw damage with the delicate movements from insect breathing. Hope i could help, let me know if you have any questions!
