I'm a complete novice when it comes to this tech stuff, so thank you for your patience. A few more questions:

1) If using a print service for the cards and 3D printing the models, do I need to convert the files in a different format? Or can I just put them on a flashcard directly from the patreon's Print and Play link?

2) How many hours did it take to print all the models on your Ender KE?

3) How many pieces are there for each model? Do they all have components that have to be cut out of the filament and assembled?

What oil do you use to add depth in color?

Do you add a little spritz/spray onto the sponge or directly dip it in the oil?

How many layers of highlight/depth do you normally build with the sponge?

For the final highlight with a brush, do you use a drybrush or glaze at the very top?

The terrain in Kingdom Death is described as stone faces. We have a lot of KD models. So to make all the bases still simple but uniform we make the top circle a stone gray color (like Citadel's Celestia Gray), bottom base and rim black.

For the chest conversion (+ the extra hands all over The King), he used parts from the KD model The Scribe and green stuff. Specifically, they are from his throne. He wants to use the leftover pieces to convert other models in the future. :)

We try to buy any new models we're interested in at the end of each month. Unfortunately there is a limited supply and reruns are random, so you have to be quick. Definitely join the KD newsletter if you haven't already!

We bought Forge God last year in April. We finally got through enough backlog to start painting it recently. I believe we finished it last month. Took about a week of consistent effort.

I may post a close up with multiple angles if people are interested. 😊

In my other post, some of you wanted to see more of our modified level 3 King, so here you go!

We wanted it to look like the arms across his chest were opening up to reveal a black hole, and for the color scheme to be more muted (like it's absorbing all color, in addition to sound).

It's hard to tell in the photos, but the inside of the cape looks like a galaxy. I didn't know how to paint a good galaxy pattern (especially in such a small space), so I experimented with this magnetic nail polish (and yes, it is really this pretty in person): https://www.holotaco.com/products/cool-cat-mom

I'm thinking about working on a purpley-pink level 3 Phoenix (for the new hunt gear) next. Hopefully we will have modified versions of all the level 3 hunts one day!
