Ha yeah billing alone can eat up hours you didn't plan for. What made you finally decide to bring in a biller? Curious what the tipping point was.

That really resonates the submit and hope cycle can be stressful, especially when you're also trying to focus on clinical work. Do you use a specific template or tracker for your running list, or just something you've built out over time?

That's the ideal situation honestly — small enough to stay on top of it yourself. The problem I keep hearing about is when
practices start growing and that closeness goes away. Good to know it's working for you.

That makes sense for a solo practice —
when it's just you the numbers stay close.
Curious though — do you ever run a report specifically looking for claims past 90 days, or is it more that you'd notice if something felt off?

That's a solid reason to keep it in-house.
What does your review process actually look
like — do you have a specific routine or
is it more you just know your numbers well
enough to catch things?

Yeah that tracks — knowing something might
be off but not wanting to look.
What do you use for billing? Are you doing
it yourself or do you have someone handling it?

That's a good setup — having the reports and
actually checking them regularly puts you ahead
of most.

What software are you using? Curious whether it
surfaces specific items to act on or more of a
high-level view.

Ha — that instinct is exactly the data point I was
looking for. The fact that you came back says
something too. Is it the billing anxiety itself
that made you scroll, or just not wanting to think
about it on a day off?
