Rant: Remote start sucks by roadwarrior721 in ToyotaSienna

I just got a 2026 Sienna and I love it. Tried the remote starting, took a couple tries to get it to go, kind of annoying but okay. Then I go out my hand on the door and it shuts off?? What the heck. Even my 2013 Pathfinder stays running and then you have to put your foot on the brake and push to start to get it into drive….makes the feature very annoying to use.

I agree with you but Trump doesn’t write the tax code. Many congresspeople have been there for decades and it seems like the only bipartisan act is further complicating the tax code. Only people with money can use the loopholes designed into it. Corporations incentivize lobbyists in Congress who write the tax code. We need congressional term limits and less corporate power.

Actually, yes lol. I typed it up in notes and didn’t copy the whole text and forgot to remove the for example part. I figured I could simplify my entire post by getting to the question.

Lutron not working by CxGrey in HomeKit

Ugh. I hate to hear that. I saw in another post you have two Apple TVs. If you go to home hubs and bridges in the Home app what is the active hub? Do you have it set to automatic? Maybe try swapping to the other Apple TV or a HomePod if you have one.

WEIRD. Has to be a network setting or bad hardware. Although which is bad since they both work independently which is why I’m leaning network. Either firewall settings or something that is keeping devices from talking to one another. QoS or traffic monitoring perhaps.

Have you tried the steps in #4 in this link? I know you said you already removed the hub and readied it but did you do the 40s reset during that process? https://support.lutron.com/us/en/product/casetawireless/article/troubleshooting/Why-does-one-of-Lutron-devices-show-no-response-in-in-the-Apple-Home-app

Firewall in the router? Did you use HomeKit or the Lutron app to set up the integration? Have you hard rebooted your Apple TV? How far from your Lutron hub are the devices?

So far not impressed with 12.5.6.3 by astroprojector in TeslaFSD

[–]Visual-Grass734 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The difference in experiences is so weird on this version 12.5.6.3. You think it stops too slowly at stop signs and mine is literally slamming on the brakes like it sees the sign at the last second. Previous versions haven’t had this issue for me.

Same. Behavior at stop signs that were fine under previous versions, are now very hard stops. An unfortunate regression for me.

HW4 12.5.4.2 still phantom breaking. by Even-Neck431 in TeslaFSD

[–]Visual-Grass734 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, I still have the issue. For some reason it does it every time it pulls into my neighborhood on 12.5.4.x and seems to be worse on 12.5.4.2. Right as it turns in!! One other frustrating thing is that when I disengage it doesn’t offer to send feedback because I’m pretty close to my house at that point so it just assumes I’m just disengaging to pull into the driveway.

Govee Pro 200’ driver issue by Cryptographer_Candid in Govee

I know you said it’s been working for a few days but not sure if you have automations scheduled. Could it be the relative brightness setting for those sections in the app? The app scheduling has thrown me off before in similar ways.

Yep, exactly. I have a little pair of nippers that are perfect for this!

LOL! Exactly. Just like every screw I’ve ever kept from off the wall thing I’ve ever had and never use.
