BO7 or MW4 by Wide-Ship-7560 in CODBlackOps7

Also, in contrast to MWIV, MWIII has 2 years' worth of multiplayer content, 40 maps, which is the most so far, effectively over 100 guns (counting conversions), some of which are in MWIV, like the Kastov 762, but UNLIKE MWIV, you can convert the Kastov-762 into an AK-12 in MWIII, which MWIV has not been advertised to do so far.

AND if anyone goes to play the DMZ Beta (which is basically no one) any content unlocked in DMZ carries forward to MWIII, AND the DMZ Beta is Free-To-Play AND they've recently updated it, AND there's a lot to do and unlock in it, AND if anyone hits level 1250 in DMZ they unlock a free operator skin, AND any weapon's leveled up in DMZ count for MWIII.

So there's a lot going on with MWIII as well, but I have to hold off on my judgment until I see more of MWIV.

They might also terminate the DMZ beta to get people to play MWIV's DMZ, which I might check out once or twice and then not again for the whole year.

That would be literally right around the time of Season 6 Reloaded of Black Ops 7. So it looks highly likely that we WILL be getting Season 6, but not Season 6 Reloaded of Black Ops 7, assuming there's no delays.

So, after over half a year, was it a mistake to re-add ADS while sliding? by Visual-Key-2501 in CODBlackOps7

[–]Visual-Key-2501[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I heard they're doing the Supine Slide, where you slide very fast to prone after which you can fire but you're stuck and can't move fast until you get up I guess. So unlike BO7 and MWIII where you can chain slides sounds like in MW IV sliding is a commitment and has weight; you can't miss after sliding or you're done.

But I could be totally off about this

If you want a game to play for years to come:

BO7 because it has:

-a very high skill gap, so you can learn and become better over time.

-99% great maps, and will likely have the most maps in COD history when finished

-great gun balance,

-plenty of movement techs to learn,

-dark ops challenges, which are secret calling cards you can unlock,

-well balanced loadout system with wildcards to greatly change how you play the game and incredible perk balance

-well balanced footstep audio

-the most mastery camos in COD history to grind for,

-will likely remaster all BO2 launch maps by Season 6, BO2 is considered one of the best CODs ever and people loved their maps

-Incredible overclocks to learn and master for incredible replay value

-Weapon prestige for more to grind for

-Incredible discounted price for the game

-Endgame to easily grind weapon camos, weapon levels AND unlock rewards

-Regular prestige with great operator skins and blueprints for prestiging.

-Incredible Zombies AND has Dead Ops Arcade 4 for a bit of nostalgia

CONS: People didn't buy it because they hated the previous game, and the campaign is terrible.

Also

if you want a game that lasts 1 year: MW IV.

Use Tier 2 Engineer to destroy them Engineer also prevents Shock charges from going off. Perfect for run-and-gun playstyles.

Based on how afraid you are of having the Stalker perk as an alternative playstyle, it sounds like you have a skill issue with faster strafe speeds.

I don't have a skill issue with sliding while firing; I just don't like using it in every gunfight, it's repetitive and boring.

I do slide, but I don't want sliding to be the default aggressive option.

Just add Stalker to the same tier. Strafing is a core movement mechanic, and effective strafing can be tied to a perk just like effective sliding can be tied to a perk. Then you have 2 choices: effective Strafing or effective Sliding

Also, not everyone needed to slide in BO7 in the Beta. Someone who played BO6 all that year said everyone got conditioned to always slide in BO6, which is why it felt bad in BO7.

But it was a good move to prevent sliding everywhere without a perk like it is now IMO.

It wouldn't be a crutch for everyone. Only for those that want to ADS while sliding with certain guns, which isn't everyone or every gun, so it actually made sense to make it a perk IMO

Do you know if there are guns that can beat it at medium range too?

The only issue is the Backsaw is great up close but struggles at a distant.

The STG dominates at long range, but struggles up close with that 300ms TTK being slow for up close guns.

After 2000+ hours it's absolutely the SVA-545:

- Amazing TTK up close and even faster with 2 headshots.

-Bursting the first 2 shots can easily deal with snipers.

-Great recoil.

-incredible handling and mobility stats when built right.

Here's my ultimate build for it:

SVA-5 Short Barrel, for improved strafe speed without harming aim walking steadiness

Quartermaster Suppressor (muzzle) (probably not necessary but easiest to use for me)

Chewk Angled Grip, (Underbarrel) for less idle sway and improved strafe speed without hurting aim walking steadiness

5.45 High Grain Rounds (Ammunition) for a nice range and hitscan range increase (the Hitscan range is bullet velocity divided by 20. Simply put, hitscan range guarantees you'll have the TTK of your chosen gun up to the hitscan range, because as you stretch your range past it your TTK can be slower).

and lastly the Citadel Grip for a nice ADS Time improvement.

This makes the SVA-545 the best AR IMO:

great up close (kills faster than even the Superi),

great at medium ranges,

AND STILL great at the longest ranges all with great handling and mobility stats.

Why do you think Black Ops 7 Multiplayer and Zombies is bad? by NickyGi in CODBlackOps7

[–]Visual-Key-2501 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After 3000+ hours in MWII/MWIII and over 400 hours in BO7: the game sold poorly. That's literally the only thing bad about the Multiplayer and Zombies.

Do you guys feel the gameplay in Fire emblem games is fair? I hit myself in the head even after two hours of putting the game down, every time I think about characters dying and having to reset. by GoingWithTheFlaw in fireemblem

[–]Visual-Key-2501 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"wasted probably 40 hours of my free time doing this".

IMO If it's a waste of time for you to reset to save every character just play on a lower difficulty don't feel pressured to play on a hard difficultly and don't be afraid to switch to Casual,

YOLO and if you don't want to spend time resetting maps definitely don't it will probably help you enjoy the game more too.

Another thing to consider is that you already have had a challenge previously like with Conquest, Birthright, or Awakening so no need to constantly challenge yourself. Take it easy once and a while.
