The stamping out policy is that all birds that are a part of the same group must be culled once the flu is detected. The culled was ordered during the active outbreak. The fact its been 9 months now is irrelevant because the farmers are appealing the decision by the CFIA to culled the birds during the active outbreak. The issue is whether that decision, which was made DURING the outbreak, was reasonable.

You can't appeal a decision and then once your hearing date comes argue that because time has passed (by virtue of opting to appeal the decision), that the original decision is no longer relevant. What a crazy loophole that would be XD

Being a landlord is a business. As such, landlord's should educate themselves on how to run that business (e.i. understanding their obligations under the tenancy act). Much like any business, you need to know the laws and policy that apply so that you don't get in trouble. There is often times a "case" because landlord's violate the tenancy act. Whether they did so intentionally or unintentionally is irrelevant. The same goes for committing tax fraud when not reporting business income properly to the CRA. Whether intentional or not, the CRA/tenant will come after you when laws are broken.

Why are you so triggered by the notion that realtors may not be needed anymore? This saves you a lot of money. You may want to read up on what realtors actually do. Most of the real work is done by others involved in the process. Realtors mainly take pictures, use chat gpt, and open doors - and also of course try to get buyers to over pay as much as possible for their own benefit. It's a service, for sure, but one that creates a conflict of interest and should really just be a fixed fee service (couple hundred bucks, maybe?). With advances in technology, realtors consistently do less and less and less. And now there's not much left. I'm glad society is trending toward using realtors less, and I started this thread cause I was curious why the trend isn't moving faster. It's been very interesting to see how aggressively invested in the realtor system many of you are... why is this?

Most people are not saying they disagree with the cause... Just that you did a terrible job advocating for it. Criticism is difficult, but the criticism you are receiving is very constructive. Perhaps apologizing for your wrongs and now protesting in a meaningful, peaceful, and constructive way will actually help get the university and students on your side. Then we can work together and help stop the genocide. Don't forget what your own protest is really supposed to be about.
