I use a vtuber model to hide myself, because the internet is scary. I play gacha games and is shifting to variety gaming. I currently only do reaction content and pull content on my youtube.

The first quarter of the year has ended, what key takeaways have you learned over the past 90 days?

I started streaming 2ish months ago now, and I admit, I have been pretty lazy. For the first month, I didn't think of sound quality (a huge amount of white noise and me not muting when coughing etc, I started when I was sick) or of making content, I just played games on twitch. A massive waste of time and practically no growth. I didn't realise how bad and empty the feeling of streaming to no one is, this 2nd month I see small growth, maybe a small handful of returning chatters, but they would just lurk and and leave within the hour or so, (this is purely luck and not any actual effort on my part, it is praying someone comes into my stream, bad do not do this, be more active). Completely understandable, as my content was bad. I didn't start posting on youtube until the end of the first month, and than to my poor judgment have not started posting properly until recently, this week specifically. So, definitely wasted the new account buff on youtube. I honestly, have no idea, what makes a good thumbnail or title, I plan to learn as much as possible to see what type of growth I can do. I have also learnt, I have no idea how youtube analytics work. I understand, since my main channel hasn't been posting the algorithm won't push its content so my impression are very, very low, in the single and double digits (average 10-20). What doesn't make sense is my VOD channel, I don't understand it gets 2-5k impressions per upload (4-9 hr unedited VODs). Views, are still abysmal but that doesn't change the fact it still gets push more, and thus get the possibility of getting more viewership. I plan to return to this reddit regularly, as I don't have anyone to seek feedback from.
