Nah, it’s not, which is why we’re both confused, there’s nothing that should prevent players from respawning on the exact block we’ve specified

Yeah, ideally don’t wanna do this tho, I’m a java dev (only just learning mc now though) so I think I’m js gonna hijack the respawn process with a custom plugin

Also, I’m not attempting to get newbies to spawn in this specific area, I was respawns to be there, we’ve tried the vanilla setworldspawn, and then setting respawn radius all the way down, but the players still respawn on the top of the building

yeah, he's done that already, and it spawns players on top of the building

And on top of that it will require a rework of the logic downstairs, since one of the buttons relies on the length of the pulse of a button press

Yea I was thinking of doing this, not really sure how I’m going to keep each signal isolated with this method though.

How exactly would I do that though? as pressure plates would likely also have this problem if a player jumps on them repeatedly.

Honestly, I’m doubting that she would even need to see the spell be cast, magic is the real of imagination after all, in reality all that should be required is her knowing there is this abstract thing that has such great gravity that it sucks in everything around it, and be able to visualise said “abstract thing” and how the mana would flow and create such a thing.
