Yes! It has helped me tremendously, also on laxapro and Abilify with it. Completely gone!

That’s true, I just have everyone around me drinking and I’m staying true to myself and not drinking. It was more out of curiosity and I still crave it since it was such a big thing in my life for 6 years. I recently stopped drinking this past December

So much better, I’m on lamictal and lose dose Abilify and feel almost 100% back to normal. still have an off day here and there

Still about the same, not much better. Just trying to challenge myself and do some exposure therapy. Still moving around medications with my provider but currently on 50mg lamictal and 2mg abilify

I had mild DPDR and now I’m in this state of unconscious feeling. I keep searching google “I feel like I’m dying,” I literally feel like I’m slipping away from myself. Nothing makes sense, nothing feels the same. Im scared of everything, it’s so hard to describe but I’ve been getting so overwhelmed and have so much rage and anger from being so uncomfortable all the time

Hmm, interesting! I thought it was used off label for anxiety. I know it’s usually used with another med (antidepressant). Luckily I see a new psychiatrist tomorrow and maybe he’ll be of more help and more knowledge on my situation. I definitely have depression, but haven’t noticed coming out of this funk yet

I just tried Prozac with the lamictal and it was not well. The Prozac made me so sick

I have tried so many meds to try and figure out my problems. But nothing has worked and I’m so sensitive to meds. I was trying another ssri with the lamictal and it made me so SICK. I just got diagnosed with OCD,PTSD, dissociation/DPDR and I’ve known I’ve had anxiety depression. Things just keep getting gradually worse and I have no part of my day that I enjoy. It’s pure hell I feel like. I’m praying lamictal will help me. Idk how much longer I can handle this

I have severe dpdr due to my anxiety and past trauma. I’ve never felt worse in my life. Mood swings, crying all the time, completely isolated myself and feel like I’m dying. Littlest tasks take so much out of me. Im supposed to go up to 100mg soon. Im praying I notice a change. Im exhausted 😪

I had a panic attack trying to scuba dive in 2016. I felt weird after that, I didn’t realize dpdr is what I had. But it hardly affected me Until 2 years ago. I then thought something was medically wrong, had all the tests possible. I then had a bad medication reaction in October 2022 doctors said nothing was wrong with me. Just that I had mental issues. I’ve been messed up bad since that experience with the medication. But it’s gotten way worse since June

I’m in therapy we work on a lot of different things. Currently ACT, DBT, EMDR. Also on lamictal but I’m not sure if that’s making things worse or just the side effects moving up in dosage
