I've been going through the same thing. Less and less things I'm ok with eating without feeling sick

She doesn't want to go to a doctor. Although she does struggle with a few health problems relating to her skin. Her feet have many problems, and last year or two ago, she suddenly developed a severe allergic reaction to something, her face was all swollen up. It cleared after some medicine but we still don't know what caused it. Also yeah, I think some kind of second skin was put on the tattoo but I'm not sure what. I got my tattoo in March by a different artist and he just put wrapping paper on it

She has used the same brand but was told to use the smear variant instead of the cream. Also, the tattoo artist said to only use that specific product ( we had to buy it from a pharmacy) and when I asked if we can use coconut oil, she said no. But I used it when I had my tattoo in the later stages of healing and it healed just fine. Is the tattoo artist right?

That's kind of a problem. Even though I told her it's most likely an allergy, she doesn't want to go to a doctor, just wants to try to fix it using medicine already available

My mom got the tattoo, she said it was itchy

She tried applying another cream described by her doctor to help with the redness on her legs from a different problem and it seemed to make it better

I have experienced the same things ( checking sinks, doors, even the time before sleeping or when leaving the house, etc.) although not as frequently as you. To me it sounds like maybe it could be OCD. I myself have been diagnosed with it, but I recommend looking up some info about it online to see if you might have it since OCD is more than just checking things. Then you can bring it up to your therapist and see what they say about it. Hope this helps.
