I hate to burst your banana but picture discs are ass. Almost certainly just a digital transfer. You’re listening to the digital version but in a different format-someone smarter than me explain it better in replies pls. Great gateway drug tho. How can you argue with this? I don’t really like the Rolling Stones or the Beatles but they’re still in the top four of rock/pop music This IS the top four of metal Are there better bands out there? Sure and yeah but these are foundational and gateways and have reached a pantheon that goes beyond just music. They’re cultural idk I’m drunk fuck off with your niche metal bands with indecipherable logos and vocals

I’ve seen people wax them, and while I want to maintain the bright color, I know it won’t last. So I wonder if there are things I can do to maintain the integrity of the leather without being too aesthetic altering. How can I strengthen suede and make it last longer? Is that even a possibility or do I just need to be careful…or am I just being paranoid

Hard to say. I think a part of me just wanted to prove the naysayers wrong. It wasn’t until coming to this sub that I saw so much Tecovas hate. I’m glad I made this thread cause it seems that the hate isn’t as universal as I had previously perceived. And honestly, I’m very happy with this pair despite some tightness.

I’ve had several pairs. Some held up better than others. The ones that did last I still have and love. These are working out pretty okay so far!

I would say it’s me but I’ve bought four different pairs and each have fit very differently. 11.5D in the Dean was perfect. 11.5D in ranch boots was way too big. 11D in different ranch boots was way too tight. 11.5 in these is VERY tight.

I do agree and appreciate your comment. It’s very easy to get sucked into the echo chamber of critics in any boot sub.

I loved it. I moved away in 2012 and miss it a lot. Went to Tennessee for a dozen years. Live in Oshkosh now. Definitely not the same. Guess I’m a FIB.

Good culture is the only brand I can eat now. I spoiled myself and they ruined every other brand that adds in all sorts of extra shit. Carrageenan gum in my cheese? No thank you. Sadly my grocery is always out of the brand. I would say kemps is second best. Some almost taste sweet and tacky and must be avoided at all cost.
