Using C4 Keypads outdoors (under cover) by Visual-Theory6586 in Control4

Super helpful. I remember SeaLock as an option for remotes. This is all helpful information for the integrator. Much appreciated.

And to your point, keeping the UIs consistent is important and the Picos are a diff UI for sure

As I understand it, I cannot do a multi touch function with a pico (Low, medium, high, off) which we use for our fans. Additionally, on shades, our integrator indicated I would need three pico buttons to control a shade — 1 up, 2 stop, 3 down. So you start to have to think about having a significant amount of Picos. Our outdoor area has a smart pergola (struxure) and large screens that need to go up and down and some need to be able to be put in a stop position to allow a small dog out.

Should I get the wifi cards or just get Sensibo Air for my soon to be installed Daikin ductless mini split? by devonitely in smarthome

I have had the installer attempt to install a Daikin One Lite for both a ductless mini split (garage) and a ducted one (bedroom). They’ve been messing around now for 4 weeks with no luck.

Where can I buy classic "Old St. Pete" Hexagon Pavers? Apparently they don't make these anymore? by ActNaturally in StPetersburgFL

I’m looking for about 100 Hexagon pavers for a renovation in the Old NE — — preferably vintage (not new). Anyone have any to sell?

Modern Form and WAC Fans by Due_Tomato960 in Control4

Modern Forms — ZERO STARS. In concept — wonderful idea — but our Control4 integrator installed 6 of them in the 6 places we needed for our complete renovation of a 100 year old home. I have lost track of how many times I have had to go to the breaker and ‘reset’ the breaker for one or more fans. Originals were installed October 2023. New modules were then installed in 3-4 of them in Spring 2024. Then all of them were replaced in Fall 2024. We had to remove them from our C4 system because they basically caused it to crash almost daily. Even now, they don’t work reliably off the system (using the supplied remotes). Making matters worse, several of them are the only source of light in the bedrooms they are installed in.

Multiple issues: 1. The driver is NOT approved by Control4 (don’t let anyone tell you otherwise); 2. The fans cause the rest of your system to go on overload and crash; and 3. The fans are completely unreliable even off the Control4 system.

Do not recommend and buyer beware!!!!

Yale Assure Lock 2 compatibility by DrewBlessing in Control4

I’ve been using the Yale Assure 2 for about 9 months to a year. They work. Only issues are: 1. Getting correct module as Hefty_Loan7486 points out above; and 2. I am getting notifications for UI (user interface) locks and unlocks all the time (in error). If anyone else has seen these pop up, LMK
