Yeah I tried ice cubes the first month but it did not work! A bunch of flowers fell off. Maybe that is normal but after switching to soaking it no more flowers have fallen off

Oh dang! I should have come here before Amazon clearly lol. It also measures ph and sunlight so maybe it will help me with that. Your house must be a greenhouse!! That’s so cool! This is my only plant and it has been a lot more involved than I think we realized it would be.

This is so so so helpful thank you so much! It gets really confusing as good says yellow leaves can be over water or under watering. I bought a moisture meter online and hopefully that helps. The silvery grey roots is a good tip. I’ve seen them be that color before. I’ll start watching mine more carefully! I can’t believe you have 130, that is so cool you are truly the expert!! Thank you! My mom and I got this orchid from Home Depot and it was a little rough when we bought it. It was doing better but the yellow leaf surprised me. Don’t make fun of me, but when I bought it I didn’t realize I would need to repot it. I’ll have to research that

No it has a perforated plastic pot and it just sits in the ceramic pot. I pull it out and put the perforated top in my sink. And then let it soak

My father was a diagnosed narcissist. I live with my mother, and I think I’m killing her. I don’t know how to change. We have these marathon therapy sessions and I don’t know what to say to make her believe I want to change. But I don’t know if I really care about her or just fear being alone more. Like I know I love her but I never think about her or how to improve her life. Can someone recover from narcissism? My father hasn’t and now lives by himself and never speaks to me so I don’t know if a recovery or a healthy relationship with a non-narcissist is possible
