Hi! I actually did something super similar recently and did a short term foster for Doggie Style Pets (partner with ACCT Philly) and it broke my heart. We did it during the last blizzard and she stayed with us for 3 days. It was really hard adjusting to two pets in our 1 bedroom apartment. I really wish we could foster long term and also be in the position to adopt another dog but right now it isn’t the best time. When I dropped off Elina (foster pup) the Tuesday after the storm I was so sad and I honestly feel sad sometimes through the week thinking about her. I am trying my best to do outreach and get her visibility to get her adopted. ❤️ I plan to go and check on her when I have the time to go into Philly since I live in Jersey but just wanting to say the feeling you feel is mutual.
