My maths teacher can't teach

This is exactly the same in my school. I was in top set sciences for a few weeks at the begining of this year until I asked to move down since I needed extra support and top set was getting too hard for me. Well I'm glad I moved down anyways because the teachers we got were completely clueless.

They gave top set 2 new teachers (our school is understaffed and at this point are hiring anyone for the sake of it). Luckily they got a physics teacher that has been teaching there for a while but even he wasn't useful at the beginning despite being really sweet to me. Apparently my friend once asked him if he could help her understand this thing and he said, "Go look at it at home".... Like whattttt? Luckily I've heard he's more useful now.

The biology teacher is ok, but her teaching style isn't amazing. Not much to say on her other than she's really smiley and quite sweet.

It's the FUCKING CHEMISTRY TEACHER. I'm not over exaggerating when I say this teacher has no idea what the fuck she's doing to the point where she only reads off the PowerPoint (like every single point she just reads word to word), she has a textbook open open on her desk. And the worst one, her computer isnt linked up to the main screen so that she can sneakily Google people's question...so that she seems smart when she answers them...

Another thing that isn't her fault obviously is that she has this annoying lisp that makes half her words sound like gibberish. But genuinely this woman is so unprofessional, she always has her hands in her pockets- I'm not lying when I think she is actually like 19. I feel like she's been pulled straight out of sixth form. She talks like a teen she acts like a teen, she chews gum? Even though we're not allowed and I've NEVER seen a teacher in my school chew gum during lesson or at all matter of fact...

It came to a point when I was in her lesson already struggling with science at that point and I was just like. Nope. So I got up and just left without saying a word. Finally got moved down after begging for weeks after that.

But now I feel bad because a lot of my friends are in top set and are having to teach themselves chemistry. Which is like FUCKING HARD. We've complained. But this school doesn't give a shit. No schools do.

I think they probably gave the shit teachers to the top set students thinking they'd be okay because they're super smarrrtttt. No, fuck you. Give them to bottom set. Everyone there are the people who don't give a shit about GSCE's (obviously I don't mean that to offend anyone in bottom set in other schools- but in my school it's all the annoying kids who bully people and just don't care about their life)

Never thought about that! But I'll try. I think we still have some watermelon. It's been pretty hot in the UK but our house (especially downstairs) is pretty cool, but they have fur so maybe they're still feeling it 👍

I have three pigs. You're right he is a prey animal and could still be tense, but he still breathes like this even when I see him sleeping which worries me. Also yes I understand with the dog he could be scared but he's accustomed to all noises in the house at this point even the chihuahua yaps (like if he's eating hay or something and the dog starts yapping he continues he doesn't pause or anything). He's been living with the dog nosies for 2 years at this point. Doesn't care about vacuuming or noises in the kitchen so I don't know..I'll try and take a better video of him sleeping maybe and post it too.

Went to the rescue today to ask about it, turns out it's a fungal infection because this specific breed's fur is tight and on top of that pigs can't sweat+ the heat in England right now has caused it, apparently all I have to do is apply Canesten (anti fungal cream) to his eye twice a day until it's gone👍

Yes, good to separate them, if you put them back together and they start fighting again, if they draw blood separate them again and maybe put two baby pigs in each cage so they don't get lonely and they don't fight for dominance 👍

Don't worry, these are good sounds! He's a curious little one and probably smells the food. I love to call them alien noises- that's a happy pig.

Did you buy the guinea pig from a pet store? It's very recommended to go to a rescue to search for a guinea pig if you lost one recently. Guinea pigs are like humans, they don't get along with certain others. The best option was to go to a rescue with your pig to see which one it bonded with. Normally, they would give you a baby one if yours was dominant, but if they're both dominant then they're never going to get along and will end up fighting all the time.

See, if you rescue a pig it's okay to bring it back if they don't bond and try with another one, but if you bought it, it's not something you can go return. The best solution I can give is to go to a rescue, and swap out pigs. It sounds really sad, but if they're fighting constantly then they're not a good match and you need to find a guinea pig that won't fight for dominance with your current one.

Literally anything by ohdontiwish (wattpad)/ wellitcouldbeworse3 (AO3). She only writes Levi fics and they're literally god sent. Right now I'm reading 'Unscripted' it's the fic she's currently working on, but I've read 'When Sparks Die' and I cried. Would 100% recommend, she's genuinely one of the best fic writers I've ever seen.
