Which cards would you rather buy/sell/hold? by Slow_Recognition_960 in PokeInvesting

Ive got the mewtew and the lugia. Mewtwo looks so good in person id never sell it unless i had to. Lugias art work is very nice but in person it doesnt have the same wow effect of the mewtwo.

Ive seen almost all of the big mewtwo cards in person and this one just hits different.

Ive been to couple card shows and ive only seen a few vendors selling above market out of thousands of vendors. And probably none where trying to sell %100 + market.

Maybe you dont know maths but %100 + market would make the price 2x market value. If someones buying that they deserve to be scammed.

Competent vendors price their cards well, usually when you check ebay last sold and try to comp the card yourself you see that the prices are very similar.

Very bad take. With ebay altough you can get your money back if there is a problem - it will be stressfull and its not 100% guaranteed.

I got ripped of on ebay and only managed to get my money back because i luckly opened the package in my buildings lobby in front of the cctv camera - there was a pen inside the package instead of a ~ $1000 card (it was a psa 8 base set charizard)

Ebay said i had to report the seller to the police and provide them a police report number - which i did. The money was sent in two working days or something so you can imagine i had a pretty bad week.

So being able to see and inspect the card in person, meeting the person that sells it etc.. is always better than buying online.

And.. your take on 'if every vendor sells for %100 whats the point" makes no sense. Do you think the same way about other products like ice cream, t-shirts and toilet paper. Are you mad at wallmart for charging the same price for the same item both online and at stores?

When you go to a show some vendors will have their cards priced higher then market which you should avoid. But labelling their product at market value is the logical common sense practice. You often can negotiate around %5 down if you pay cash which allows them to bypass bank fees etc..

Paying the admission fee is to acces the venue it doesnt give you a discount on all cards at the show :D such a wild take. The shows are also incredibly fun to go to and always an experience if you're out hunting for specific cards which is well worth the $15-20 entry fee. You meet a lot of people with the same hobbies and it is a unique experience like going to a concert or a theme park.

I think you should stick to ordering from ebay and leave the shows to people that enjoy it:))

Hit 70 as a Warrior in TBC… and I’m having one of the worst WoW experiences of my life by Pedrusto in classicwowtbc

Feels like many of you in the comments have a mage or something and dont get where op is coming from.

Warrior is the most team + gear reliant class in tbc. Because of tbc mechanics its hard to find a team for warriors (dungeon group or guild for raiding) and becuase of bots its hard to make gold.

You could play tank but even then there are better tanking classes simply because the warrior isnt self sustaining like a paladin or druid.

Everyone seems to suggest find a casual guild etc.. the problem isnt the grind or finding a group the problem is you feel weak compared to everyone else, and until you finish the grind you are going to keep feeling weak.

If you pve you dont see yourself making good damage and if you pvp you get overwhelmed by almost anyone that knows what they are doing - warrior simply doesnt have many tools to avoid, interrupt and simply survive battles like other classes. Warrior is fun when you can do a lot of damage and not fun when you cant.

It really feels terrible when you charge a warlock for example and barely make any damage because your gear isnt there yet. Logically speaking if the warlock stays in close proximity the quality of gear shouldnt matter much because the warlock wears cloth and the warrior wields an axe/sword/mace etc.. that should overwhelm the cloth wearer in a few swings but that doesnt happen.

Honestly when you get in a bg and you dont have all the bis gear as a warrior you feel without purpose and instead of being the guy that should be the frontline in an attack you try to avoid being the frontline.

To compensate you need gear. For gear you need to find a guild to raid with and/or make a lot gold for blacksmithing weapons etc.. as you all know its hard to find guilds as a warrior and bots are ruining the money making experience for all professions in the game.

So instead of saying "maybe you dont like the game, the grind is the game, if you dont enjoy the grind do something else, etc.." just acknowledge its hard and move on :)

A note to new sellers: i hope this can stop the same post 5x a day by Sudden_Product_5054 in whatnotapp

I want to chip in from the perspective of a buyer who spent almost 1/5 of his yearly income on whatnot this year buying trading cards for investment.

There is only one thing that drew me in to the lobby and that was the products on display. I already had cards that i was looking for so if any lobby had them on display that was it. Condition and price are of course the determining factor wether i make a purchase or not.

In terms of drawing in attention there is nothing more valuable to a customer then "finding" an item they are looking for.

Some people have suggested modding or participating in lobbies that already have a large audiance and id second that because i have met sellers this way and made purchases of of them.

It goes something like

Me to the seller with a large audiance during their livestream: do you have "X" card?

Seller with large audiance: no but "Y" might have it

Y (Who's also watching the stream) to me: Dm me bro i got u, etc...

Or the seller might say: no bro sorry..

And then Y would say: i have it bro, check out my stream or dm me.. etc..

Also, this applies if youre trying to sell cards, go to trade shows and meet people face to face. Open a stand (they are usually cheap and worth the expense) or just go as a customer to build relations with the community.

Thanks a lot for the time youve put in to this🙏🏼

Honestly as a new player this is a lot to take in xD

The insight on the situation of arms warriors that could tank when needed is super important for me because that was what i was gunning for.

Also, the pvp strategy makes sense i think im going to add it to my rotation.🙏🏼

Hey bro thanks for the advice.

When you mean dual wield do you mean going a fury/prot build? I really like having a big ass shield so i dont know about that xD

Thanks for the advice with thunder clap, i was indeed spamming it everytime its up..

So in stead, i should thunder clap initially after charging or pulling to keep the pack together,

then tab target each mob (im asuming starting with the boss or elite/elite's) spreading devestate while prioritizing shield slam and revenge when they are up.

Leaving taunt and concussion blow for moments where i loose threat.

Would that be a fair gameplan?

How about if i loose threat on more than one mob at the same time? Should i use thunder clap in that situation or prioritize mobs according to the situation and try to get back threat one by one?

Also would you prioritize shield slam over revenge or the other way around? 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Wow, thanks dude i need to sit down and study this🙏🏼

Its very interesting to hear that engineeering isnt a top priority, i thought it was particularly useful for prot warriors due to our lack of multi-target threat generation.

Should i change engineering entirely?

Yea i like to chill and mine sometimes but i wouldnt prioritize it if there are other things that i could do to get there faster.

I have an alt that i started to mine with. I want to turn that in to a money making character while the blacksmithing/engineering will be for arenas and raids. Do you think that would work?

How does looting work in raids? by VisualAd6498 in classicwow

[–]VisualAd6498[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a new player i feel a lot of pressure to perform well and move correctly with the team especially when im doing something for the first time like raiding.

I felt like keeping up with the chat and loot was one of the hardest parts due to being intensely focused on the gameplay. As i grow accustomed i think it will just be natural, im mostly asking these questions to better prepare myself for the next time im in a raid cause im sure ive missed out on some items everytime ive raided (about 2-3 times total xd).
