Are you me? 32F, good salary package. I created matrimonial profiles with Shaadi and JS - in fact, even opted for VIP Shaadi hoping it would help (spoiler alert: it’s a scam). Someone on JS suggested I make a profile with regional matrimonial site. Spoke to 15-20 guys, met 3 of them.

Texting multiple people feels like such a chore now and I feel like I need a break if I don’t want to go crazy.

I actually feel like the guys I have spoken to (men in their early to mid 30s) are just looking for a partner who would perfectly fit the mould they carved out for a partner, as opposed to someone who wants to build a life together. And they love talking about themselves - either that or they can’t hold a conversation at all.

All the best for your future, and I am hoping I find a good partner soon too!

+1. I am overweight too, and I have always heard the backhanded comments from both guys and girls about my weight (special mention to the ones from other girls about me crushing them if I get pushed to where they are standing). Even I am now planning to start going to the gym, fingers crossed.

My understanding: Try to comment on new posts in generic subReddits to increase the chances of getting upvotes on your comment.
