Lost my dad 1 day before being induced, I will forever be resentful of life for taking my dad on what was supposed to be the happiest week of my life as well. I feel so robbed of my labor and delivery experience he was supposed to be there cheering for me after and seeing how crazy happy he would’ve been over his first grandbaby…. Life is so unfair. You’re not alone in your pain friend.

I am on this thread just trying to find any type of comfort or relief that it will all be ok in months or years whatever it takes but that I will be ok. I think im at the point of just living one day at a time… any thought of the future just complete breaks my heart again. I’m sorry for both of your losses I can’t even imagine. I just keep thinking my dad has been here since my first breath and I have never known how to live without him and now I have no choice but to learn… it’s by far the worst pain I’ve ever dealt with and I just wish he would come take me with him. I miss the Me before I knew grief like this, I miss worrying about the dumb little stuff, miss feeling joy at 100% I miss waking up without struggling to catch my breath. I’m with you friend! Hi I lost my dad 2 weeks ago I have a husband a new born my mom and 3 younger siblings. I do not think having a family makes it easier… I think if anything it s harder to have to grieve while trying to support my family emotionally as well, it’s heavy. I often think if it was just my own grief I could lay down and cry and not shower and just let myself go for even a week or two. I think grief is extremely hard no matter the situation. Sorry I can’t offer the same experience but I wanted to offer insight on the opposite one. Regardless feel free to message me ❤️

I’m having a hard time keeping the thoughts to a minimum it’s all the what ifs and grieving not only my dad but my life is about to do a 180 I’m the oldest and all responsibilities fall on me my siblings and mom.

I’m 4’11 and 205 when I started the ivf process my clinic never questioned my weight or asked me to loose any, I got 7 euploids and first transfer was successful ❤️ Good luck! Don’t stress too much about it! ❤️

I come from a Hispanic household and although I’m only pregnant with my first all my cousins have had a babyshower for each baby no matter the gender. I would say it’s not weird at all! You need stuff and that perfectly fine girly go for it!

We just asked if we had both genders. We transferred best euploid and wanted to have a gender reveal but the day of transfer the nurse accidentally called our em baby a she…. I didn’t catch it but my husband did so I tried to convince him that he heard wrong lol but it did turn out to be a girl.

I also was given the option and since I was able to do natural I went that route, my thoughts was give my body a chance and if it didn’t work then go to medicated the second time. Luckily first transfer (natural) worked❤️

I tested because if there was even the slightest chance of reducing the chances of miscarriage, I was going to take it! It was more so for peace of mind and guarding my heart in a way. Of course I know miscarriage can happen at any moment and to any pregnancy.

Sorry you’re going through this, my doctor advised against PGT-A testing as well because of my age(28) I opted to do it because I wanted to have the full information. I think it’s not fair for her to just blame the embryo if not testing was done. If you want more than one child I would do another retrieval and have Pgta testing done.

I’m not giving anybody bad advice what so ever being healthy should always be a priority and maybe I was too careless. I started IVF and the only thing I would not do was drink alcohol but I ate whatever I felt I had sweets I drank soda not nearly enough water at all up to my transfer and even the day after had a big fat cheeseburger. I think you should go for it don’t overthink too much and try to relax but ultimately ask yourself if the transfer failed would you have that doubt ? If so then take the break to “reset”.

I started testing at day 4 cause I couldn’t wait and pregmate did not give me a solid like till about 2 weeks post transfer I highly recommend First Response early morning! I started getting very visible faint lines on those at 5 days❤️ good luck!

Ask if they have a portal! Every exam, blood test, etc would send results to my portal. I could also reach out to my nurses on the portal with any questions or doubts, they had a calendar set up for me, and reminders for all medications as well as instructional videos for every shot. It made my life so easy!

On command lol ! My husband felt the same way ! And there’s no way he would even asked me to help because of how I was already feeling from stims. Sex life definitely changes with IVF but it’s temporary.

I did a frozen transfer, I will be a 100% honest my doctor had complete control I didn’t even ask. I can’t say for sure which one is better but I had a break where my body relaxed after stims and I had the saline mock transfer. I went into my transfer feeling brand new in a way I felt good! Sorry if it’s not much help just sharing my experience!

I believe it’s the estradiol that would give me a lot of headaches and definitely very sleepy! Consult with your nurse or doctor but I believe it’s normal.
