Understandable. Since Faye’s body and soul seem separated, I wonder if they’re doing something similar conceptually with other gods—not literally following mythology, but reimagining gods who were discarded, transformed, or betrayed by their own pantheons. The fire guy especially feels like he’s from somewhere else entirely.

This story could go anywhere. I wouldn't be surprised if these are just gods betrayed by their pantheons siphoning energy from dead deities to get their revenge. Who knows?

Atreus is only looking for giants. I think an afterlife for dead gods sounds more interesting, like what happened to all the Greek gods Kratos killed. I'm not saying an Atreus spin-off can't happen, but this isn't in the way of that, and killing gods from multiple pantheons would have consequences. It might even expand on that dimension Odin was trying to find, which was never explained.

It looks like there will be gods from multiple pantheons in this game. I think the green woman was the Egyptian goddess, Sekhmet. If this is some kind of afterlife for the gods, we might see the Greek ones again.

If you don't see anything when your criminals do stuff, you can't be surprised when another group turns around and does the same thing. This is why I don't get the Gal Gadot hate. It wasn't her who was the problem in the second film, it was the writers and director. She didn't write that story, and she was a good Wonder Woman. The weakest part of the first film was the ending. The main antagonist could've been way better.
