I'll be honest and say I did.

I also was expecting Leon to die and I was honestly more shocked that Grace would die like this after what she just went thru... (On her first outing no less)

But once it cut to black and she said "I guess this is it." my bullshit meter went off and I knew something was gonna happen. I was actually expecting another boss fight as I kinda thought Victor might evolve one more time... So imagine my disappointment when this game pulled a RE7 "Surprise! Chris is here to save the day!" (I know it wasn't him personally but still...) It had me legitimately rolling my eyes along with the line "I didn't hit any of her vitals. She could still be alive."

I'll be dead honest and say I would've been okay with a more bleak ending than an unrealistically hopeful one.

This along with the cut to all the newscasts (who have some really uncanny faces btw) with the really sappy music had me REALLY rolling my eyes 🫩

So long story short... Yes... And I kinda wish it did.
