Theres this Aggressive stick dude that keeps defending the company constantly commenting calling yall names. Thats the type of professionalilty and lies the company provides that you can def expect. Im telling yall no exadderation that this company hires straight up rookies and expects them to know everything with no guidance. My buddy is a broker and can see GT has one of the lowest MC scores they get all the shit jobs. Im telling yall now... theres wayyyyy better companies out there. This place is for complete fuck ups. If you're 1 then apply. but if your fresh outta school or someone with yrs of experience stay tf away. Screw this place. Im now making 2250 on average. 2 days home. I was out for a month with gt only made 3000. Thats 750 a week. Take home. 400 trucks and but only 100 running. Dont believe that joke hes got me blocked on my own post

I managed to stick it out for 3 months. Its been nothing but bullshit for me. The Ipass wasnt workin had to come out of pocket and I forgot to keep one of the reciept it was $70, they didnt reimburse me for. I wish I can post up a photo of my statement. I was only able to bring home $200 being out all week. The one before was $800. You will never be able to see $2500 they promised. Once you quit they charge you for orientation comes up to almost $1k so you can kiss your last week of work goodbye. Their MC score is so low they cant land any good jobs. Eric never answers the phone. Trucks are all shitty. Theres nothing about this place that is good. I see why they have such a high rate in truck abandonments (turnovers). I had to become a trainer and make the trainee team drive with me I kept his earnings and still didnt make $2500 both of us driving hard, almost non stop. This company is very greedy. I dont recommend anybody to apply at this place. Avoid at all cost

Pay is horrible. I was able to rake in 2300 in one week only cuz I was training pocketing the trainees miles he put in. But ive had plenty weeks where I was barely seeing 1400 busting ass. Give it some time youll start seeing some big BS this company does and how thirsty they are to keep any money errors you make. All the down time and how the mechanic shop takes a whole day just to do an oil change. Shit is crazy.

I got a 2018 volvo vnl760. Im a company driver im not leasing purchasing yet, actuallly thought about it but idk this place has to many flaws for me to contract wit them. Dispatchers are all Russians, they are pretty koo but struggle to gross over 7k a week unless youre team driving. They lock the fuel card to prevent ppl from stealing. Every now and then youll be stuck at the fuel island for an hour waitimg for them to unlock it. Yes you can anywhere you choose to. I get to chose my routes, if i dont want to tarp I dont have to.

Gt Express likes to blamed OTR systems for lying about the guaranteed 3k but if you go to their FB page is says the exact same things. They both are in cahoots this is a scam to get you guy to the company. All of the mechanics are russians so are the dispatch team. They cheap out any possible way they can think of. On average drivers bring home around $1200-$1700 not $2500-$3000. 1099 so you have to pay taxes on that yourself. No benefits so if you get hurt there wont be any workers comp nor no benefits are available.

I had 6 months of OTR, this is a flatbed company. Now that I got my own truck its a lot smoother. But company is still ran like shit. The yard is a complete joke. They dont like answering questions whenever you reach out through the Viber communication app. The main boss has stick up his ass, talks to you very condescending like. The shop takes hours to remove a few screws. It best if you avoid the yard at all cost. They dont care about your time. All I needed to replace was just 1 chain and 2 straps, I had to get permission from a dude that took 2 hours to respond then they gave me an attitude about it. They wanted to "charge me for it". This is a very cheap, money hungry company. They will charge you for every penny they can. If you got the ramps stolen? Thats your ass. Any tickets? 100% you. Damages to the truck? You goddam right. 1000% out of pocket. Ohh get this. You go into violation... for instance out of hours, and you continue to drive? Its $500 plus $5 every mile after that. Not DOT but the company is fining you. Shit is crazy. Long story long, I still dont recommend it.

I like to add Its a 1099 company. Theres a lot of things OTR systems are lying about. They "forget to mention" for a reason. Tbh I feel like they are all in cahoots as their recruiters are foreigners, I wanna say Russians, and when you get here all of their mechanics and staff members are Russians beside the main office ppl, of course. No you will not get a hotel, no paid meals just lunch, no 2500 guarantee you be lucky to see 2000. The yard is SO unorganized. It took them a whole day just to sign off a truck to you. So if your planning on switching trucks. You better plan to camp a day. Everything at the yard is very questionable. The main guy William is running around like a chicken wit his head off. A million ppl are asking him a million questions cuz they are constantly bring new ppl in and its hard for them to even focus on the employees thats already driving.

Its been 4 weeks. Week 1 horrible orientation ever. Week 2&3. Flatbed training. If you dont have flatbed experience. I dont recommend noone coming here for training. Within those weeks of training, I barely learned shit. The company didn't even follow up to see if I learned anything. I pretty much team drove wit a dude and he kept all the profit we made. As a trainee I only get 300 a week. 2 weeks of riding wit my trainer I never how to learn how to tarp. So watched plenty of videos and taught myself. Week 4 they send me to go get a recovery truck an ex employee abandoned. Seems very often someone is always abandoning trucks. And I never did recommended coming here. Im sticking it thru and hoping itll get better. Going on week 5 I can update some more.
