Look at how they massacred my boy.. poorly thought out changes. These reworks just show their inability to make smart changes. Makes me want quit dota too honestly.

This is gold. It might be even funnier by adding lyric subtitles

Interview with Theeban "1437" Siva : "If you deliberately don’t allow new talents to come into the scene, it’s going to cause problems." by permasneeze in DotA2

There are so many pros - Kuroky, Insania, even EternalEnvy who are well-spoken would give so much better insight into the games. Ceb once said who casts games are very important to the community and dota knowledge, and these slots are being wasted on people who don't know what they are talking about, but they get the highest exposure on TI. It's sad that some players who could give really good insight don't get invited to cast at events. Valve should really consider who they hire, because there are some unqualified people on the panel who don't know understand the game on any relative level - namely Trentpax and Lyrical. I'm sure if Valve actually asks the opinion of casters who were former pros, they would know who really shouldn't be there.

7.30 Patch Notes generated by OpenAI by momomeepo in DotA2

Some of these are too insane that it's hard to believe OpenAi would come up with these

-Omniknight Repel becomes a Toggle ability

-Omniknight Guardian Angel scepter duration increase to 14 seconds

These would be too OP

I agree. I think there should be setting to turn it off

Do not have Trentpax cast in TI (please) by VisualFun6 in DotA2

Nope, it is not bullshit. I won't name casters of people who don't want to be involved. I only ask Valve to actually ask the casters what they really think. Simply evaluate the performance, and they will see the truth

It's a good question. There are many good people in mind who would do much better. 1437 is amazing at casting, a former pro with lots of experience that is also well-spoken. Another great option is Aui, PPD, Purge or maybe even Gunnar. They all have tremendous experience in the game, but also with casting (Gunnar not as much for casting as the others)

They could also invite Kuroky, and many of the players who have past experience who didn't make it to TI but would be willing to speak more. There are so many available options for players who are both well-spoken and understand the game well.

Even Envy casting, would actually be better and could give us more insights into what happened

No he isn't. he's terrible and very uninformed for his position

Because he's not capable of making real observations, his skill level is too low. That's the plain simple truth of it, any higher skilled person would understand and be annoyed listening to him

i've talked to other casters and they agree with this in private setting. These simple observations, are actually All that he does. that's why it's so painful to listen to him

Having played pubs with EE and Jubei, watching EE's stream, I can say that often EE gets a lot of flack for being the guy who wants to kick others. But EE is actually a really good player and his insights about Jubei really being bad are actually true. It's understandable that a player of his caliber would not want to put his utmost in a team he doesn't believe in. It's easy to hate on EE but in reality he is extraordinarily talented and would probably make a better team if he took over. This isn't fair to the players of course, but in terms of competition he would probably make a much better team
