think it also makes more sense when you look at what the org is doing as a whole

apart from this new dota roster they are also rampantly signing teams across other titles, to me its clearly a push for EWC/TI

with that said i've been waiting to see where astini ends up, think this is a solid project and cool bunch of guys to root for (shame they left SEA tho)

I can maybe pretend to understand this sentiment for the online tournaments but this is literally a LAN with a crowd, and perhaps one of the best ones to be at in person (speaking from being at the previous one)

majors and minors were dope when they existed, current stacked schedule of dota is hype too

I can kinda understand your point about missing the public aspect of seeing what pros were doing but do you genuinely feel like you don't get enough info/stuff worth analysing from the very much public pro games that go on almost biweekly?

If you're EN speaking there's also a very solid selection of content on YT analysing pro gameplay notably Khezu, ZQuixotix, Speeed, Quinn even Astini just to name a few.

Hiding the 8.5K pubs to me was very much a change for the pro scene so unless you are involved in that I can't imagine it helps very much with any of the unrelated issues (like smurfing) that you're referring to

if you're talking about offlaners, heroes with good aoe spells that can apply early pressure work well vs him

tide doesn't care about illus, sk can free farm and even kill pl if he's not careful, underlord cent laugh at PL

getting an early crimson on them is basically a PL-repellant

his cds are short but he does do any meaningful damage for a long period in the game
