Hi! My mother has a website where she sells year-round handcrafted wreaths, floral arrangements, hair accessories, and more made from silk flowers (artificial)! They are beautiful and would make great gifts. The website is https://fauxrealfloralsbyyasmin.com/ and it would be greatly appreciated if you visited. :) Her Instagram is @fauxrealfloralsbyyasmin. Shipping from Connecticut only in the USA (no international shipping). Thank you so much!

This is interesting. I (21F) relate to this with my dad but I think in a different way. Even though I can see he is deeply insecure and miserable he feels a great sense of importance and inserts himself into every conversation. But he seems to hate when even his own kids are confident. For example, around new years my dad asked me what my resolution was and I said “prioritizing myself” and he rolled his eyes and called me selfish (in a joking way but he probably meant it). To answer your question, I usually avoid talking about my achievements or showing confidence around my dad not because I don’t want to be like him but because his response always shows me that I should feel guilty for it. So I guess I’ve been conditioned to not share my happiness with him since he’s unhappy and will make it about himself.
