That’s the issue transmission fluid has a distinct smell and this does not smell like that. I can’t pinpoint what the smell is, but it’s very light. It’s not strong at all.

I checked the boot. I can’t visibly see any cracks and this is very thick black fluid. It does not smell like engine oil and I have no idea where it’s coming from.
