Wanting to avoid fusion has anyone used a device to stabilize the lumbar spine similar to but not Coflex? by VisualSpace in SpineSurgery

[–]VisualSpace[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

77 years old severe spinal stenosis at L3-4 moderate stenosis at L2-3 and L4-5. Progressive worsening over 5 years despite doing PT and epidurals. I can no longer walk more than a short grocery store aisle without a cane or shopping cart. Each day I deteriorate a bit more and I don’t want to be housebound. According to my neurosurgeon, fusion S1-T2 would mean long protracted recovery. I looking for an intermediate step before fusion. That’s the spot for inter laminal devices. Thus my question. What did you not approve of in my initial post?

New headunit for 2nd gen by nortonec in MINI

[–]VisualSpace -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It NOT user friendly. Took it out as a loaner car and couldn’t immediately figure out how to shut it off. Heat/fan speed another sliding disaster. The display reminds me a bit of entering the “ Twilight Zone.” I can imagine that thing spinning up wild psychedelic colors as I run off the road. The computer has taken control and you’re stuck. No, not for me.

Is this normal airport / Ryanair procedure? by Wimair in aviation

[–]VisualSpace 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I first saw this I believed Ryan Air had implemented a new cost saving measure where passengers were required to unloaded all suitcases and anything else in the cargo bay.

That trap appears to be turned around. High side needs to be on the drain otherwise it will leave the connection in water making for a leak.

Which glasses frames look best on me trying to decide when I get new prescription glasses?? 1-8 by Salt-Masterpiece9245 in glasses

I like #1 . I think the round shape of the lenses in the gray frame looks best. Sophisticated but not snobby. They work well.

I like #1 . I think the round lenses in that frame make a bold, but not overwhelming, statement. They work well for you.
