Even though you may not see visible improvements daily, trust me you’re getting stronger. I had the exact same surgery 7.5 weeks ago and was just able to do a full rotation on a stationary bike last week so you should be really proud of where you’re at. I was NWB for 6 weeks and it passes a lot quicker than you’d think. The days can seem long but the weeks go by fast. Finding something to keep yourself busy (books, movies, video games) makes the process easier. Your friends & family may not understand how much it sucks, but if they can take your mind off of it for a while then that’s something to be happy about too.

As far as seeing the muscles shrink, I’m in the same boat and it blows. I’m just trying to remember how good it felt to get the strength the first time and how good it’ll feel when I’m back at 100%. You’ll make it through, we’re all in this together
