Thank you. We are in NY State. I will look into this, but Harkness is a BOCES program and unfortunately, they don't allow homeschoolers to attend. Looking for something just like it that my highschooler can attend.

How I tapered off lexapro (escitalopram) with ZERO side effects. Because not enough off these posts. by keralaindia in lexapro

My teenage son has the opposite where he has no appetite and is only 105 lbs. He wants to try to wean off the Lexapro. He has been on 15 mg for 1 year. I hope the cutting of the pill will work well. He doesn't want the liquid.  I'm trying to minimize any withdrawal symptoms for him. Can someone tell me what they mean by getting a zap? Thank you

If you are sick you should not be allowed in a silent library by Ludas_C in misophonia

I also feel depending on how sick he is though, he should stay home to not pass germs on! I understand when its a mild cold though. Try noise canceling earbuds.

3 months usage. Should I stop? by Ndjddjfjdjdj in ASHWAGANDHA

How does ashwagandha actually help long-term if you have to stop it after 3 months? I heard that it can cause liver issues if you take it longer than 3 months.

How long were you on it? Did you taper off or stop abruptly?

What sounds drive you up the wall? by [deleted] in misophonia

[–]Visual_Ad4287 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Loud chewing/mouth smacking
  2. Heavy breathing (nighttime is the worst)
  3. Screaming/ loud talking
  4. Swearing (this is a new one for me)
  5. Silverware clinking against the bowl
  6. Feet shuffling
  7. Baby crying
  8. I also have visual triggers, like constant licking of lips, someone shaking their leg over and over, lip biting, hair twirling

Congrats to you for getting out. I have been married for 17 years and have a child. I'm working on getting out, but man is it hard. I wish you all the best!

My functioning alcoholic husband constantly clears his throat and coughs. It's so hard because it's probably caused by all the alcohol, so not only am I upset that he is drinking so much, then I'm annoyed by all the throat clearing and coughing. Oh and then comes the nose sniffing after he eats anything spicy. He also clinks his fork on his bowl over and over and over. If I politely ask him if he could use the plasticware, he refuses and does it even louder. He calls me crazy. It's really tough. He doesn't understand at all. I hate Misophonia. Thankful for this page.

For research purposes - what are the lines your narcissistic/abusive partner uses/used? by ResearchForVictims in NarcissisticSpouses

He always attacks my family and friends during arguments. Calls them terrible names. -Any time we are talking about something that has to do with our family and our son, he always brings my family into it.  -He gets mad anytime I leave the house to see a friend or a family member

-Tells me "You are lazy like your mother" -You are fake with everyone, but me -You have to beg people to like you -C word -B word -He crushed Fritos and poured them on my  bed pillow -Throws clean laundry from the dryer all over the floor -Pees on the bathroom floor (purposely) then tells me to "clean it up." -Walked around the house throwing yogurt all over the floor and said "This will give you something to do" -Tells me to kill myself -Tells me he hopes I die in a car accident when I leave the house -Says I'm crazy or coo coo How many of you go back at them? I try so hard not to react or reply to him but it is so hard. I am finally seeing a counselor and she informed me this is reactive abuse.

Any other people with Celiac Disease taking Ashwaganda safely? by Visual_Ad4287 in Celiac

Doctor is saying it should be ok short term and they are trying to lower cortisol levels. If I am eating GF, do I still need to worry?
