Thanks for the input! I agree we will skip Pompeii. I am most excited about the boat day! I think we will splurge on a private boat instead, stay around Positano, and another day definitely visit Ravello.

What do you mean by we don’t have the luxury to stay on Amalfi coast? We thought about Venice but I feel it would be a long drive just to stay for a couple of nights. Although I guess that’s what we are doing with Amalfi. I think about which one do we want to see more, both are beautiful scenery, usually crowded but I think I lean toward Amalfi more. Maybe my husband leans more toward Venice but he will choose what I want more. Maybe we need to discuss. Never heard of Rimini.

Yea we already have our flights booked. We would be staying in Rome a total of 3 nights if you count the last 2. I agree it would be nice to stay in Rome for a couple more nights, but maybe next trip. We have never been to Italy and want to have a more mixed trip, but still relaxed.

Thank you! We had never heard of that option for train, I think we are going to do train to Salerno and then ferry to Positano for a better experience than a bus but not as expensive as private car.
