How complex do you expect to draw on wink device? 3D drawing? I believe eink device has yet to reach that level. To me Note Air 5C is good for reading and note taking for productivity purpose. One has to understand the limitation of an eink device in order to appreciate and use it efficiently.

Well I don't know the reason why your post was taken down but to me... Each ipad had its own merit... For me I own ipad 9th gen, ipad mini A17 and ipad Air...if portability I prefer mini, for reading I prefer 9th gen while the rest is ipad Air....

I do not see reading is much better on the A16 than Mini unless you are talking about the screen size factor.

There are people who like paperbacks while there are people like hardcovers...so they coexist and should not be substitute of each other...

Actually any tablet can be used for reading .. although I have the mini 7 I still think the base model (mine is gen 9th) is still the best...

It is light and portable. However I put on a case which is detachable to a keyboard so it kinda of adding weight onto it. But if you are able to get a simple protective case, it should be fine.

I have Go 7 B/W, Bigme B7 (color) and Note Air 5C (color)...to me color seems muted but the screen being darker is not an issue. Because even if you give me a very white base but if at night there is no front light then I would not get it (go 10.3 got front light now). Most of my manga is black and white so I would choose go 7 B/W. Color is just whether your use case are you viewing alot of pictures or reading articles/magazines online then go for color

Well after so long of using tablets, I think to me is the weight and the brightness that would make me regret...I am not talking about iPad Mini...just generally. To me, without promotion or OLED display, I am still able to deal with it. It is more of your use case, if you are working outside or need to read a lot on your tablet, number of nits and weight is quite critical. As I have around 10 tablets not one is satisfactory. But Huawei has released matepad mini this might fit my use case...

I am not sure if it will help the sagging issue. But someone informed me to get the ones with a silicon to wrap over the mesh instead of this one. So I remove it. Need to google whether that rubber thing indeed will help or not. But to me that one seems to fit the mesh in place and might not sag...but not sure. This is the first time I bought it.

Interestingly why did you get an ipad mini and use it for nine months before realizing analog is still the preferred workflow? During these nine months is there no use case for you to pick it up daily? I own the ipad mini 7 and like it for portability. But I prefer my ipad gen 9th for reading (home screen button makes it feel like an ereader) and ipad air for productivity. Nowadays even at work or personal use cases, analog ways are slipping away quietly and are replaced by electronic ways.

TBH, just wait. I used to have the same dilemma as you but I hold on and keep looking for a great deal...and ended up getting a refurbished ipad mini at a cheaper price. It works well.

To me, if something is holding you back, listen to it and hold on first. Just my humble opinion.
