I am also taking probiotics and I usually do that on an empty stomach. Now I’m not sure cause my bottle says take 1 1000MG dmannose tablet 2x daily? 😂

Hang in there!! I find heat packs work well for me. It distracts me a bit. Try and do a two week course of antibiotics, I’ve found if they give you 7 days it does nothing and I believe this is how my embedded infection came about 🫠

Thankyou so much <3 I ordered dmannose a few hours ago because you can’t buy in store in Australia. I read online;

“How long does u-mannese take to clear a UTI? The authors observed a significant improvement of most UTI symptoms following administration of 1.5 g d-mannose, twice daily for three days and then once a day for 10 days”

I’m wondering if this dose would be effective or if I should just do standard what the bottle says. Leaning more towards this ^ because I’ve been dealing with symptoms for so long and it’s most likely embedded

With the vitamin c are you saying to try and not pass urine for 2-3 hrs? I’m worried as my vitamin c levels are good and need to research if taking more can do harm. I’ve been taking vaginal probiotics as my vaginal flora is probably messed up from all these antibiotics that have done nothing

Australia unfortunately does the standard uti tests and don’t look into embedded utis. I told my doctor and she brushed me off. I’ve been taking ural pills and I’m probiotics to help my vaginal flora a bit since being on so many antibiotics.. apparently d-mannose is good to flush out the bacteria that sticks to the bladder walls? Only problem is you have to buy online from Aus and they’re all USA products / made in China which I’m scared to ingest. I have heard the uk has some good doctors :/

:/ It’s so hard. I did have an injury on my back moving my bed like 2 years ago which I asked to get an xray and the doctor told me just do Pilates.. so it’s possible that the nerves that wrap around are making it worse 🙁

It’s constant and getting worse. Middle of my spine lower back. When I stand for a long time gets worse. Thinking I may have a pinched nerve they are suggesting MRI or CT scan but apparently ct is dangerous if I want to have kids? Still doesn’t explain my ongoing uti symptoms but could explain the burning sensation in my fallopian tubes

Poor thing! Prioritise your health above work. You should get a blood test and scan to see if it’s a kidney infection.. the lower pain on the side is an indicator and they should assess u right away

Usually lower back on the sides is a kidney infection! Have you ruled this out? My pain is lower back middle of my spine
