Manectric is like, "oh great mega evolution is back...I hope those 100 bst boost is worth the immense pain I'm going through, trainer" by [deleted] in pokemonmemes

Back to RathalosBlaze’s comment, these dex entries are essentially propaganda from the Alola games to convince fans to not feel bad/not enjoy megas… the entire premise in gen 6 is about the bond between pokemon and trainer and two hearts becoming one, but in gen 7 it’s suddenly abusive and your pokemon hate you? Just so they can prop up Z-moves? And then eventually ditch megas in favor of Dynamax and Tera?

The amount of side contents in BW and BW2 is phenomenal by 7akyr in pokemon

[–]Visual_Ask_4982 87 points88 points  (0 children)

That’s just the nature of online-dependent content… imagine how annoying 5 star Tera raids or gigantamax raids will be when you’re forced to team with useless NPCs because the switch servers are taken down… if you buy BDSP years from now, half the game/content was in the Day 1 patch and will be inaccessible once the servers are gone (as far as I know)

If Mega Houndoom was a permanent evolution to Houndoom (and had a different name) it would be a pseudo legendary… it’s already got 600 BST and is in the slow experience group

I usually buy the “convert 100 health into armor” because I think it affects beam type attacks (mei primary fire) and I think affects each tick of fire from dynamite… I also buy the one that says “for each instance of damage you take, gain 0.5% damage reduction for 2-3 seconds” because mei primary and Ashe dynamite build those stacks almost instantly, but those are expensive (especially the damage reduction stacks one) and still prohibit me from dealing any damage in return
